A Money Making Method to Link Affiliate Products in Your Articles

November 18, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

If you are just starting your online business, you are probably using (at least you should be using) affiliate products for some portion on your business. If you are marketing your business writing articles, you are certainly familiar with the author’s resource box. This is the section of the article where you include links to your website, blog, of products that you are promoting.

But what kind of links is best and how many should you use? I find that it best to use a total of three links. One link, usually the first, should direct viewers to the squeeze page on your site. This link will attract new subscribers onto your list and insures that your business will continue too grow. I suggest that you use the remaining two links to direct people to either your own product or affiliate products that you are recommending. If you are just starting out, you probably don’t have your own product, so in that case, you should use two links to affiliate products.

But you should NEVER use a link pointing directly to the merchant’s sales page. This will cause problems and a loss of business in the future. Why is that? On a regular basis, all but the best affiliate products disappear. This is normal. Merchants withdraw products for many reasons. It can be because of lagging sales, or the product has become obsolete, or a thousand other reasons. But whatever the reason, you should know that it happens on regular basis.

How does this affect you? If you’ve submitted 100 articles to 25 different directories promoting an affiliate product that has disappeared, those articles are now worthless to you. And it is almost certain that you don’t have the time to edit those worthless articles.

To prevent this from happening to you, you should link your affiliate products through a re-direct page on your website. That way, if an affiliate product goes out of business, it is an easy matter to find a very similar product and alter your re-direct page so that it links to the new affiliate product. That way, all of your work is not lost.

Get Paid To Blog And How To Build Backlinks To Your Blog

November 8, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

While no one knows exactly what the formula for search engine rankings is, we do know that it has a lot to do with how many “votes” you have out there on the web. These votes are counted as backlinks. If you think about it, what do you when you find something you really like and want to share with others? You link to it! That’s why the search engines count these so highly. While you should definitely aim to get to the point where others will link to you, it’s possible to take things into your own hands for now.

Below are some of the top strategies you can use for building backlinks to increase the value of your blog in the eyes of the search engine.

Write Articles and Submit Them

Writing and submitting articles is a great way to build backlinks! There are sites out there like EzineArticles.com and GoArticles.com that allow you to post your content with a link back to your site. That means you get to have your link on authority sites! The more articles you write, the more you can submit them. The beauty of this is that you can often submit the same articles to different sites, or rewrite them quickly to have something that is more unique.

Comment on Other People’s Blogs

It’s a great thing to remember that a huge part of blogging is getting involved in the community. Commenting on other people’s blogs will not only get you some recognition from their readers right away, it also counts as a backlink! Keep in might that some of these links are termed as “nofollow”, which means the search engines may not pass along ranking or “juice.” That’s okay, because the algorithms are always changing, and since these links are so highly targeted they are a great thing.

Write Guest Posts

Writing guest posts for other niche blogs is an amazing strategy. People love to let you do this because it gives them a day off from blogging. Readers love it because they get a fresh perspective on a topic they are interested in. You’ll love it because it means you get a link back to your site and all you had to do was write an extra post for the day.

Use Social Bookmarking Sites

Another thing you can do is bookmark your sites. Now, there are some rumblings out there that these won’t count as highly in the future as they do now. Still, bookmarking your sites lets the search engines know “you are there” for fast indexing. If you take the time to make sure the sites you bookmark with are high quality, you’ll get the benefit of those links as well.

Paying for Links

There are many different ways you can pay for links. It is important to know that Google and other search engines frown on this because it’s like you’re gaming their algorithm. Whether you choose to do this or not is up to you, but it can be an effective strategy if you don’t go overboard and aren’t obvious. You can contact people directly or even work through link exchange networks.

Learning how to build backlinks to your blog is extremely important if you want to rank well. Add a few links at a time and they will build up in a massive way over the long run.

Can You Use Advertising With Your Blogs to Boost Your Monthly Income?

October 28, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

Are you aware that most bloggers use programs such as Google AdSense or AdBrite to earn cash on their blogs? These are special programs that allow blogger the opportunity to add advertisements on their blogs. It is largely a code that you would get from them and place it on your internet site now what this code does is go thru the articles on your blog and produce adverts to match your content.

You can place as much advertisements as you wish on your blog form these programs. Now the way that you make cash is when your visitors comes to your internet site every day they may see the adverts on your internet site and click them. Once they click on the adverts you get paid. Some of these programs also have where they’ll just pay you based on the adverts being viewed on your website.

Now even though it seem very simple, there are a few things that you might need to understand to help raise your revenue potential. These programs do have terms and conditions that you need to read and comply with to use their program. When you have read and understand the terms you should be ok.

A few of these terms could be that you can’t have more than two or three adverts on the same page or you may not have certain content on your internet site. When I say certain content I mean like something degrading or sexual in nature. Many of them may not would like you to display adverts from alternative sources alongside theirs.

So just some small blogging tips that you must consider. Also when you’re writing your articles ensure that you are using keyword rich content. This will help you seriously. The more effective keywords that you use the more relevant the adverts on your blog will be. If you have got a lot of high quality content on your internet site it’ll help you get applicable ad and this could lure the visitors to click the links.
