Make A Great Blog For The Search Engines
November 20, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment
Many people have started to use the Internet as a source of effective business and profitable income that enables them to simplify the amount of work that they need to do. One of the easiest types of web sites to create is a blog, which basically acts as an online space that can bring people with similar interests together. People use blogs to share and exchange important information, talk about their hobbies and interests, and even display pictures and other forms of media.
In order to make a blog successful, however, you must come up with ways of getting a lot of people to visit and use it. The more people that actually visit your blog, then the more successful your blog will be.
The main goal of any online blog owner then is to determine exactly how to increase the amount of visitor traffic to the blog. One of the best ways of increasing traffic flow is through the effective use of search engines, which publish and advertise the most popular web sites on the Internet. In order to get a search engine to put your particular blog at the top of a visitor’s search, there are a couple of things that must be done.
High Quality Content
The main thing for blog designers to remember is the importance of the web page’s content and what is published on it. The quality and effectiveness of a web site’s content will determine if the blog is recognized by large search engines and therefore increase its amount of traffic flow. There are a few techniques that web site designers can use to increase their popularity with both search engines and Internet users.
Writing Articles
People must remember that the quality of writing on a blog is extremely important. If you want your blog to be promoted by search engines, web page writers should use certain key words that visitors use to search the Internet. The titles and subtitles of the blog articles should also be carefully written so that it will have a higher probability of being promoted by search engines.
High Quality Coding
Every blog or web site that you create should be created by using the most effective and up to date computer coding that is available. All of the coding rules and standards should be carefully implemented so that your blog is more detectable by search engines and also a higher quality for Internet users. If you do not write computer code on your own, be sure to hire someone who can write high quality computer coding for your blog.
Accurate Links
Another important thing to remember that will help search engines to love your blog is to publish accurate and effective links. There are many web sites on the Internet that publish dead links, or in other words links that do not work and do not lead to anywhere else. Make sure that you get rid of these dead links and replace them with more attractive and workable links.

Why Organic SEO is Better Than PPC
November 13, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment
Despite the fact that both organic SEO and PPC are part of the same system – Search Engine Marketing, there are a few very basic yet essential factors that distinguish organic SEO from PPC and make it much better than the latter. Some of the benefits organic SEO has over PPC are as follows:It provides long term solutions:
Organic search results might be slow in listing the websites, but its listing is a much more stable and long term process. The search listing which appears through organic search is a more permanent one than PPC which generally runs for a specified time span after which it dissolves and disappears. The click through rates is higher:
Research proves that the end users too have a tendency of clicking on the organic results more than the paid listings that appear on the search engine result pages. This makes the click through results of organic SEO almost 70% higher than those of the paid search results. Quality Traffic:
Since the organic SEO are mostly dependent on keywords, that are selected after a proper research and survey on user tendency and demographics is conducted, it suggests that the traffic too will be saturated and of good quality too. The search engine techniques is entirely based on keywords, the end users type in a keyword relevant o their search and the search engines display results that match with their requirement. This makes is evident that the users will only type what they are looking for, and will land into your page only if it is relevant to their search. Therefore, the possibility of having low quality traffic is comparatively low here. Many more avenues:
Unlike PPC campaigns that only depend on keyword bidding, the organic SEO also involves a number of other techniques of attracting traffic as well. this makes it double effective than the PPC. The natural or organic search also includes content writing, link building or link exchange and other on page and off page promotions to help enhance the traffic flow to a website. Low Cost Marketing:
The last and the most important difference between organic search and PPC is that the former is a no cost search promotion technique. Organic SEO does not require you to spend any many on marketing, unlike PPC where, one has to keep paying the search engines every time a click is generated.

Blog Marketing for a New Online Business â the Best Free Blog Websites and Posting Tips for You
November 3, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment
As you know, blogging is one of the best ways to increase traffic flow to your new online business website (âUm, whatâs blogging?â â if you donât know much about writing blogs, please read this article first.) Once you write your first entry, you start wondering, what is the best place to post a blog? What are the top blog sites that could aid the marketing of your online business?
Here is a list of the best free blog web-sites that I use myself and recommend to my team members:
- Blogger.com
- Wordpress.com
- Hubpages.com
- Tumblr.com
- Xanga.com
- Blog.com
- Livejournal.com
- Zimbio.com
âOh no!â â you say. â âSo many sites to sign up for! I hate that!â No worries â I recommend you use the free version of the software called Roboform (http://www.roboform.com/) for all of your Internet sign-ups. Roboform fills out your forms automatically with a push of a button, which reduces your sign-up time to a few seconds per website.
Generally, itâs good not to make your blog sound too promotional, with no more then 2 links to any one web-site per entry, but Wordpress and Hubpages are especially strict when it comes to blog content. Make sure you donât put anything that sounds like a âdirect sellâ onto those websites â otherwise your entries will get deleted and your account could get suspended.
If you like to write your entries in Word Document and then post them to the blog web-sites, make sure you preview your blogs before posting them. Blogs imported from Word tend to show up with a bunch of gibberish HTML codes, visible on top of the page. You would have to go to the blog edit window, and remove those manually. Once you post your entry on one of the websites I would recommend to copy and paste it from that site for when you start putting your blog on others. That way, you will be rid of the Word HTML codes forever.
Posting your blog manually to all of the above web-sites will take anywhere from an hour to 3 hours, depending on how fast you can work. My team and I have cut our posting time to 30-45 minutes, using a great free blog disseminator (a service which auto-posts blogs to various web-sites for you). I strongly recommend blog disseminators to anyone who values their time.
A quick note about the disseminators: they donât auto-post blog tags â only the body of the blog â so make sure you put your tags underneath every entry. I advise my team against using simple one or two-word tags, the reason being, that they act as keywords for search engines and if they are too general, your posting will not get nearly as much traffic. For example, try googling the keywords âbloggingâ, âblogâ or âonline businessâ. There are millions of search engine results for each of them. What is the chance that YOUR blog will show up on the first page?
Instead, try using longer tags. Think of something an actual person would search for in Yahoo! or Google. For example, good keywords/tags for this particular blog are:
Where to post a blog, best websites to post a blog, top blog sites, top blog web-sites, the best place to post a blog, marketing a new online business, online business marketing, blogging for a new business, writing a blog for a new business, how to post a blog, new online business marketing tips, best free blog sites, best free blog websites
If you havenât yet joined an online business opportunity, make sure you ask your team leaders for help with blogs, as they are extremely important to your development as a marketer. For example, I provide my team with links to various blog directories and with detailed tips on how to avoid common blogging mistakes. Remember that the more blogs you write, the more people will go to your website. I would recommend writing a blog every other day for the first month after your start/join an opportunity.
I hope this was helpful to you! I wish you best of luck in your blogging endeavors.
