How common is common sense when it comes to SEO?
If you are searching for “cars” in a search engine, what kind of websites do you expect to show up? shoes? pets? Obviously not. All search engines have the responsibility of serving their customers by showing them what they want. Searching for relevant websites has always been a big challenge for the search engines too, as there are zillions of websites out there on the web. More over, search engines have to fish out the best in seconds! So, any website which has all the criteria that a search engine demands, would show up at the top.
Search engines are not looking for great miracle sites. They are looking for professional businesses that are serving their customers well. Search engines don’t want to show unprofessional, crappy sites to their customers. How do search engines looks for the best sites? What algorithms do they use? Do we need to learn those complex algorithms? Nope. You need not worry about how and what methods they use, as long as you maintain your professional approach to your business. Let the search engines worry about how to capture you. And surely they will, if you are not into any kind of spamming. However, do you show up at the top? Or do you show up hundred pages after? That depends on the competition and the product demand.
Search engine optimization (SEO) is the science of increasing traffic to a website from search engines via “natural” (”organic”) search results. You do not need an extensive seo training to achieve this. However, if you take a short seo course or attend a short seo program or even a basic seo workshop, you will be in good shape. Even reading a seo book or ebook will give that knowledge about organic seo. Even simpler and quicker way is to go thru our free couse on organic seo at www.SeoCollege.org
The Google way: Whenever a customer searches using certain key words, google picks up the best sites out there in the market. How does Google do it? Google approach is very simple. It looks for what you are looking for! It looks for sites that you are searching for. What do you normally look for? …yes exactly. You look for the best sites to match your keyword. What do you mean a best site? A site that is designed well? A site which looks well? A site that sounds well? None of them. Google looks for 3 things. PROFESSIONALISM, POPULARITY AND a perfect match of your KEY WORDS.
Lets take an example. Lets say you are looking for “flower”. Google will quickly search for all domain names in its database, which have the word “flower” in it. The assumption google makes here is that, if a domain name contains the word “flower”, then, that site has to be dealing with “flower”. Unfortunately there are thousands of websites which have this name in it. Which of these sites must show up on the first page on google? and which one of them must show up at the top? Adding to the complexity, there could be many websites which do not use the word “flower”, even though they are dealing with “flower”.
The second approach that Google takes is to look for sites that have the word “flower” in their HOME page. The assumption that Google makes here is that, If a website is dealing with “flower”, then it must be talking about it in its home page. What if the home page is filled with only images of flowers and no text in it? those sites would loose out in the race! What if all those sites have the word “flower” in their Home pages? then Google will look for sites which have more than one word. More the merrier! This is called word density. This is where many SEO experts try to trick google by placing the word repeatedly with no proper sentence formation. This is called “Key word stuffing”. Google has now caught up with this trick and it can now identify such sites and ban them from indexing. Google is continuously evolving to identify such tricks played by small timers to win the ranking. The winning strategy here is that the Home Page must talk about the product or service that it is offering in length just like any other professional website. Professionalism is what Google is looking for. Read more of SEO at www.SeoCollege.org

November 15, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment
We all know that Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the best and most effective way of marketing a website. It is the most efficient method for driving traffic to your website.Google largely values backlinks that your website may have from some other relevant websites with barely any outgoing links. Generating backlinks is still very important to gain Search Engine trust and to boost up your rankings. So, it would be good, if you find any way to get few backlinks for your site from relevant sites. But, it is not always possible to get backlinks from the relevant site as other sites are your competitors and why would they provide a link to your website? With the motive of clearing out illegitimate techniques of SEO employed by black hat users, Google has given a set of restrictions that prohibit black hat users from using their techniques to play with Google’s Algorithms. And, one prominent restriction among these is: Google does not consider any backlinks from other websites hosted on the same C Class IP as yours. If you want only to increase the Page Rank of your website for flipping, then multiple C Class IP hosting is not the one you want to waste your time on. But, if you’re looking to rank your website for a particular keyword, if highly targeted traffic is what you are craving for then multiple C Class IP hosting is the best thing for you.C Class IP ExplainedBasically, an IP consists of 4 parts: Class A, B, C, D divided by “.”. These numbers are given to identify a particular network and a host on that network. Now, as we mentioned above that Google does not count backlinks from websites that are hosted on IP Addresses in the same IP C Class as your website is hosted, it might get little complicated for utilizing backlinks for ranking. However, this trick surely has a solution. What you can do is create your own websites and trick Google into counting the backlinks.
Simply, you need to create websites on different C classes and place your backlinks on them. The entire procedure is extremely simple, provided you arrange for Multiple C Class web hosting. Once you avail this requirement, all you have to do is registering 10 different domain names in accordance with the niche of your website. Create WordPress blogs on each domain and craft exclusive, keyword rich articles for these blogs. And then easily get your keywords hyperlinked and backlinks them to your website. When it comes to boosting your position on SERPs, these backlinks work wonders. They efficiently boost your search engine rankings for your specific keywords as you have backlinks from 10 different websites all of which have low outbound links. This step increases your trust rank amazingly and opens a huge funnel for traffic from Search Engines.Hence, Multiple C Class IP Hosting is a successful way to enhance your search engine rankings. However, link building is somewhat an expensive option but Multiple C Class IP hosting makes it simple and effective for low budget webmasters.

Search Engine Optimization Tips for affiliate marketing

Search engines are into providing their users with the most relevant and up-to-date information to match the search term that was used. They are sophisticated pieces of technology which allow users to quickly find relevant websites by searching for a word or a phrase. Search engine results are useless to users if the information doesn’t relate to the search term, or if the results are old. People expect the most up-to-date and fresh information that is useful to them.
Updating your website everyday and adding some materials will help you get noticed by the search engines. So, if you are going to sell any type of product or service online, you have to optimize your website for the search engines, in order to boost traffic and sales. It is because over 90% of your business will likely come directly from search engine results. And for that reason, it is absolutely important to optimize your site for search engines for you to have the greatest deals in the entire world.
Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process by which webmasters or online business owners utilize strategic copy to augment their website’s status.Making use of effective search engine optimization techniques will improve the page rank of your website. There are many tricks that can be used to increase page rank; the most effective method is to provide high quality content consistently. This seems like a simple concept but there are many websites that fail to provide content that visitors find interesting. Sites which provide content that are interesting, well-written and regularly updated create highly engaged visitors who are more likely to return to the website in the coming days.
The next significant factor for an effective search engine optimization is to include keywords and phrases within your content. To make sure that you are properly targeting your market, you have to make sure that the keywords and phrases you have on your site are the keywords and phrase that your site is actually optimized for. The more keywords you use in your content, the more likely it is that online visitors will find your site when they do some research with those words. If you are unfailing with these techniques, then your overall search engine optimization will increase, boosting your page rank.
Now here are a couple of great search engine optimization tips and methods that I personally use on a daily basis to help you get great performing keywords.
TIP 1:
What you need to do is to use the Google keyword tool. In my experience that’s all you need. Its covers a wider range of dates and browser habits than Wordtracker and other paid ones do and best of all its free. You want to rank high in the number one search engine in the world and that’s Google so use their keyword tool. You will have to dig deep to uncover gems but you will find them.
TIP 2:
Base your domain name on your keyword which ideally will be one that has a high search but low supply by anyone else. If you do that you will more likely be able to dominate for that keyword search.
TIP 3:
If the keyword isnt available as a .com (the best extension to buy) and is available as a .net and is a very good keyword, have a look at the .com website. Very often it wont exist because people buy them for resale or if the site does exist look and see if you can put together a better one. Either way, go ahead and buy the .net variant if it looks worth it. I have uncovered amazing keywords using the Google keyword tool that have a monthly worlwide search on 2 million with little competition! Most of my sites are at the top of Google for their chosen keywords and remain there because of these methods. I don’t have to do much to them for them to retain their position.
TIP 4:
If you find a high demand low supply keyword that has been bought as a domain for all variants you can still rank high for that keyword. Create a sub-page for your site and name that sub-page as that keyword. Then SEO that page for that keyword and you will see it on page 1 of Google within a week or two. I do this all the time.
TIP 5:
If you know server scripting, use a server side script with cronjobs to automatically ping all the search engines (or do it manually) on a periodic basic much like Wordpress does. Its not that difficult to use these scripts.
Ok so what affiliate product should you sell. Well say its a product by abc. Go to Alexa.com and type in abcs website and Alexa will tell you how popular that site is and trends. Some sites will have a very high % increase – 3000% or more (green arrow) and other will have a red arrow negative visitor trends. i use this method to decide what products to sell. You can also use “Google insight for trends”.
Always keep in mind that search engine optimization methods are important in developing your site’s status. With that thing in mind, make sure that you write high-quality, keyword rich content and link your site to and from a deliberate family of other sites. These things will help improve your site’s popularity and coerce increased business through your online business.

Common But Important SEO Tips

Buying high page rank websites can’t get you the expected traffic. Traffic is the main element of a successful website. Nowadays, people are using search engines as a primary tool to drive the traffic to their websites. To earn huge revenue, the website owners are using the search engines to convert the targeted traffic into potential business. Below are some important SEO tips that will help your dreams come true.
Whenever the internet users visit your website, they don’t look at the coding what they see is the website’s design and graphics. But, its completely opposite when we talk about the search engine bots that crawls your site. Bots never see how wonderful your site looks, they only look at the site code.
Bad coding can affect your site very badly. The website’s pages are crawled by search enignes bots to get indexed. As mentioned before, bots only look at what your code is saying. The analyze the website code and if they found any errors in the code your whole website does not get indexed by the search engine bots. Due to that you may lose your page ranking. To make sure your website code is clear Validate your website code in the W3C’s HTML Validation Service.
Using relevant keywords can get you a better raking in the search engines. For example, if your website is about VPS Hosting, then look after specific keywords in keyword suggestion tools and try to get some similar keywords like “Linux VPS Hosting” and “Windows VPS Hosting“. If the keyword is more specific it will rank easily in search engines on better positions.
Keyword is an important factor in Search Engine Optimization. If you have decided the keywords you want to target they must be used in the site title, header tags as well they should be used throughout the web page, but make sure you do not over use them.
To boost your Search Engine Ranking, try to get incoming links from other relevant websites having high page rank. Never go for any link schemes, try to avoid the paid backlinks and reciprocal links. The more natural backlinks the more trust you will gain from search engines.

How To Get Massive Website Traffic For Free
October 25, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment
If you have just started a website then listen closely. If you are an experienced Webmaster you just may learn a thing or two as well. The fact is, if you want real people to come to your website it is going to take a little time and a lot of determination. Do not let this distract you. Thousands of people use the following techniques effectively every single day, bringing in massive website traffic that creates an enormous cash flow for their home business.
Most of us know the two greatest factors that create incredible website traffic if worked the right way. These two things are links and most importantly quality, keyword optimized content on your site. What many do not know, and I hope to shed some like on the topic, is the several ways you can bring traffic to your site through non traditional methods of link building and content creation.
When we start our first website, we are told to find as many reciprocal links as possible. This means finding quality, relevant websites and requesting to link with them. Reciprocal linking can be good but I have found that there are other things I could be doing with my time that will pay off more than just reciprocal linking. As reciprocal linking is not a bad thing, I would not say to stop doing it. I would just say do not spend hours a day on it. The number one linking strategy I have found to provide the best results and in turn sending loads of website traffic to my site is what I call triangular linking.
Triangular linking is the result of website a placing a link to website b, now website b places a link to website c and website c places a link to website a. This completes a triangle and the search engines love it. The benefit to triangular linking is that search engines will see a one way link to each site without a reciprocal link but all three sites will benefit. I believe a combination of reciprocal linking and triangular linking is the key.
Submitting articles to article directories is probably the number one technique in getting links back to your site and most importantly visitors. I try to write at least three articles a week and submit to as many article directories as possible. Not only does this provide your site with one-way links, it also brings in website traffic directly through the article if the reader is interested and clicks.
Now that I have talked about bringing in a lot of website traffic through linking it is time to talk about the actual content of your website. In my experience, the basic principle of creating as many informational, keyword optimized pages as possible along with a good linking campaign is the best way to bring in massive website traffic. I have found that including the keyword for each individual page approximately six or seven times per every four hundred words provides the best results.
Keep these thoughts in mind when building your websites promotion strategy and you will see great results in a short amount of time. Lastly, people like good, clean, informational sites. Providing a quality site that is worth taking a look at will always prove to bring in repeat traffic to your site.
