Free Viral Advertising

November 21, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

Now that you have built that great website, joined the perfect affiliate program, created the most sort after product, how do you get others to know about it?In one word, advertising! In a couple of words, lots of advertising.Well, let’s begin by reviewing some of the things we know about advertising before talking about viral advertising. What actually is advertising? According to one definition by Dictionary.com, It is “the act or practice of calling public attention to one’s product, service, need, etc., esp. by paid announcements in newspapers and magazines, over radio or television, on billboards, etc..” Notice how it says, “by paid announcements.” But does it have to be paid always? Not when we introduce the viral element of advertising. Remember, we want advertising for free! There are quite a few things you can do to get others to know about your site or business or product using viral advertising .Before going viral, lets talk about some of the things you can do with your advertising generally to start gaining some traction. You could start by telling your friends about your service or product, and have your friends tell their friends and so on. That is advertising by Word of mouth and there is a kind of viral element to that. If you have a website, you could make your site in such a way that the search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN and the rest of them would love it. You could put a lot of unique content on your site, use meta tags to do on page optimization and build related links to boost your relevance and ranking with the search engines. This is called Search Engine Optimization (SEO). And because the search engines love your site, they will bring exposure as a kind of reward for your efforts. You could immediately go to any of the search engines such as Google, or Yahoo, or Miva and set up an advertising campaign, where you pay only when searchers click on your ad. This is called Pay Per Click or PPC advertising. You could even do the more recent variation, a kind of pay per incident called Pay Per Play, where you pay when searcher listen to your ad.There are also traffic exchanges and article directory sites that you can use to bring traffic and attention to your site or product. The later is called Article Marketing and is a very solid and profitable form of adverting. This is simply the art of crafting unique articles about your brand, or service or product and creating a web page for the article on your site and then submitting a variation of the article to the article directories with a link back to your website. If your article is great, other webmaster pick it up and republish it on their sites with your back link, bringing authority and traffic to your site. But these all cost time and or money. No advertising is really free or is it? Well, No and Yes! No because it will cost you time or money or both time and money to get your advertising momentum going. And yes, because once you get your momentum going, you can add a tweak to your advertising that can really make your ads free. That is the viral part of advertising. What are the quickest and simplest ways to get your advertising momentum going? Some of the simplest, easiest and most cost-effective ways to get your momentum going is by running solo, sponsored or classified ads.Solo Ads: Solo ads are ads sent to an email list or a list of ezine or newsletter readers with no other ads on it. Solo ads when sent to a target audience are very effective because there are no competing offers on the page. The reader is presented with your ad and your ad alone. That is why they are called solo ads.Classified Ads: When placed at the right place and worded carefully, classified ads are also pretty effective. Because there are other competing ads, they are not as effective as a solo ad. By merely tweaking your headline, text format and duration of ad placement, you can improve the performance of your classified ad.Sponsored Ads: In-between solo ads and classified ads are sponsored ads. Sponsored ads are placed at the beginning, middle or end of ezine or newsletter articles. By reason of their placement and size, they tend to perform better than classified ads but not as well as solo ads.Pay Per Click Campaigns are also quick and effective, but they can be expensive if you don’t know what you are doing. You could loose your shirt with runaway campaigns.Adding a viral twist to your advertisingThere a few ways you can add a viral advertising spin to your advertising campaign. But what actually is viral advertising? It is simply a way of bringing attention to your products, services, brand or campaign by leveraging the help and effort of others.Article Writing, as mentioned earlier is one way to bring a viral effect to your traffic. As you gain prominence in your niche, and other webmasters pick up your articles for publication, there is an element of viral-ness that kicks in and brings you additional exposure and traffic at no extra effort or cost.Once you begin to bring some traffic to your site or product, you can use other tools, such as tell a friend form on your site, with incentives to leverage off of the help of your visitors. Hotmail did it and exploded their subscription base. Recently, we have witnessed the explosion of social sites such as Myspace, Facebook and several others going from obscurity to notoriety in no time. But these are just social sites and they can provide you leverage if you just want to promote your face. But there are also sites that provide a platform for you to put a viral spin to your business for free. A quick search on Google will turn out a truck load of such sites. But how many of them actually produce the results they claim can only be known from actually participating. Without doubt, the way to go with your advertising is to go viral. Why? Because viral advertising has a compounding effect, it is free, and it is self-sustaining. Search Engine Optimization For Bing

November 18, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

Bing if you didn’t already know is Microsoft’s latest search engine. This time it looks like Microsoft is serious about competing into search engine forum. It has invested over $80 million in advertising promotions and looks like it’s digging in for the long haul.

Optimizing your site to rank better on Bing may prove to be a financially sound move. On Bing in order to return faster and more accurate search results it searches are broken down into categories such as health travel shopping etc.

It is important to keep in mind that this search engine is still in its infancy and it’s possible that many of the facets that exist now may not be around in the near future.

Okay, so what should you do different to optimize your site for Bing to achieve better rankings?

The basics of your on page optimization will remain the same. Using a keyword rich title tag and a meta-description tag that’s going to compel an action from a searcher is a basic concept that shouldn’t be forgotten.

One thing about Bing that is unique is the way that they display site links. The anchor text that they use comes directly from the anchor text of your internal pages, so it’s important to use keyword rich phrases titling those pages.

Another interesting aspect of Bing is the quick preview feature. This feature presents a searcher with a longer description of the page, its internal links, phone numbers, e-mails and even physical addresses. So it’s a smart SEO move to include as many of these features on your individual pages as relevancy allows.

As with Google local search is also a very important aspect of Bing. Getting your business listed on Bing maps search gives you another opportunity to show up in the organic listings.

So when optimizing your pages to rank well in Bing, it’s important to keep in mind the segmented structure of the categories that Bing uses as well as the opportunity to present your message through the longer page descriptions and meta description tags.

Although Bing shows some promise it’s still only accounts for about a 10% market share. Despite this fact, you may find it smarter and easier to generate traffic through keywords that would be far too competitive to optimize for on Google by optimizing those pages to rank better in Bing.

As far as optimizing your blogs for Bing you should follow closely the structure that Bing uses for its categories and mimic them on your blog. This seems to have an effect of creating a greater sense of relevancy and ultimately better organic listings.

Just remember it may be better to have a first page listing on the search engine that only has a 10% market share that it would be to have a listing on page 20 of the search engine that has an 80% market share.

Getting your site and your message in front of as many potential customers as possible is the ultimate goal of SEO.

How to hire an SEO firm

If you’d prefer to hire an SEO firm instead, do your research. You’ll be spending a minimum of a few hundred dollars, more likely thousands of dollars for a medium-sized or larger website.

While many SEO firms are good at what they do, the field unfortunately has its share of scammers as well. They may tell you that a variety of tricks such as hidden text or cloaking will improve your site’s position in search engines. In reality, these techniques may get your site banned from search engines.

If you’re considering an SEO firm, ask how they measure success. Will your site hits be organic? Look at the sites of SEO firms’ clients and the site for the SEO firm itself. Do the sites rank well for keywords at these sites? The search engine results for relevant keywords will indicate how successful an SEO firm is.

Tips & Tricks On SEO

November 17, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

Mastering the art of search engine optimization can make you very, very wealthy. That is certainly a heavy statement, but I believe it is true. Any website which can top the rankings in all three major search engines has unlimited potential to be exposed to an extraordinary amount of people all over the world. But is SEO an art or a science? In fact, it is a bit of both with a pinch of luck throw in for good measure.
When you are wanting to ‘SEO’ a website, there are several aspects you need to pay attention to. The first is on page optimization. This consists of your text, headings, images, coding, and general website structure. On page optimization, if done well, can land you some nice search engine rankings on the MSN Search engine.
This is all well and good, but what we really want to do is rank well in Google. How do we do that? With off page optimization! I will get to that in a moment, before that I will briefly explain the difference between on page and off page search engine optimization and how you can improve each one.
On page optimization:
Put simply, you need to ensure each of your website pages are targeting themselves to the specific keywords you have chosen. This means your titles, eadings, content text, URL, image alt tags and hyperlinks should be displaying keywords for which you want to achieve a search engine ranking for. This does not mean spamming and using the keywords over and over again. Successful on page optimization will subtly yet effectively display particular keywords. In the case of your main content text, a keyword density of around five percent is sufficient. Hyperlinks pointing to other pages should display anchor text keywords which relate to the page being linked to.
Off page optimization:
This is where it gets interesting! While you may get away with simple on page optimization for a good ranking in MSN, if you want to rank well in Google you have to start thinking of what’s happening AWAY from your website. Sound strange? What you need to pay attention to is WHO is linking to your website and HOW they are linking to it. Your goal is to gain as many links to your site from related websites as is possible. You also need to strictly police exactly how these other sites link to you as well. By now you should have a nice amount of keywords you are targeting. These incoming links need to use your keyword text as the anchor links – this way Google knows which keywords to rank your site for.
The more incoming links you gain from well respected, popular websites, the better your search engine ranking will be. There is no two ways about it, this is THE way to rank well in Google and correspondingly, be seen by the millions of users of the most popular search engine in the world.
On page and off page optimization are the two broad areas of search engine optimization. Above all these, providing quality content on your website is still the best way to win new and returning visitors. It is also the easiest way to gain back links – if your website is seen as an authority site in a particular niche then people will naturally want to link to it with no further effort on your part. It doesn’t get any easier than that!

Cash Spitting Money Making Blog Techniques

November 17, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

Having a system for money making blog techniques is something that any newbie can utilize to make money from a couple of the dead simple money making techniques that don’t cost a dime. This article covers 7 simple steps for you to use when starting a money making blog.If you go to Google right now and search for “money making blog techniques” you’ll find about 7-8 million competing pages and odds are that one of the first 10 is an article! Why? Because articles, and blogs rank high in the search engines! So what you’ll see in this article step-by-step includes the following marketing tricks I’ll share. You’ll learn some simple on page optimization and moreTip #1: Correctly Optimize your Blog For The Keyword. Now the first thing that you do to use a simple technique is that you’ve optimized your page for the word “money making blog techniques”. I know, it kind of doesn’t make sense all that much, but it’s a word that you could find in your traffic logs and things like that. That’s where you’ve found this word and I though, why not optimize an article for it and demonstrate how easy it can be sometimes? If people are searching for it, why not let them read what they wanted? Especially when there’s GREAT information to pick up?Tip #2: Optimizing The URLS And Post Slug On Your Blog. You want to optimize your article like I’ve said above. Now it’s time to utilize the blog post slug feature and make sure you use the keyword in that as well. You’ll notice I’ve got the title in the keyword and also in the url. Google, Yahoo, and MSN will like you post more, because it’s highly optimized for the keyword and the title, and also the url. This are all important factors.Tip #3: Using Tags and Ping ServicesNow if you are doing this on a blog and posting an article you’d want to add a few tags to your post so that it gets tracked by ping-sites that you’ve listed in your WordPress backend. These are examples for your tags for an article like this: “money making blog techniques, money making blog, money blog techniques, money blog, blog, money”As you can see they are all relevant in one way or another. This means that all the words in the tags are on the page somewhere and that means more relevancy for Google and the search engine is more likely to find your article. This also helps boost your rankings for Technorati and all of the other ping services you are a member of.Tip #4: Creating Articles And Submitting Them To Article Services! The thing here is to write 1-2 unique articles and crank out unlimited amounts of articles and submit them to services or let other people submit your articles! It’s way to time consuming to submit them on your own! This is NOT article spamming as you are creating unique and powerful content for people. Your submissions should be to about 300-500 directories and you should see indexing in about 2-7 days. That is lot of backlinks!Tip #5: Structuring The Resource Box For Well Written ArticlesYou will most definitely want a compelling resource box! It is vital for you to get the click when the visitor is done reading. The resource box includes a few different components, but should most definitely include a ONE WAY link back to your site with your keyword in the anchor text. So, when everything is done your resource box will be similar to this one:Your resource boxes need to have a compelling and well formatted structure like this:To discover awesome fast and easy cash-pulling . Be sure to visit Your Name’s authority now! And discover how he uses dead simple techniques to make passive income on autopilot.Okay, I admit it doesn’t win any “awards” of beauty but it sure has the two words you’d optimizing for in this case and if you hoover your mouse over the links when using a correct anchor text, you’ll notice that it has one link to your main page and one to your post.Linking to pages “deeper” than the top-level domain is called “deep linking” and is a widely known technique among SEO experts. When you have a very competitive keyword take this a step further and create a Squidoo lens and link to that lens instead of your site. Then link the Squidoo lens to your site as well.Since the Squidoo lens already has a page rank of 7 you’ll have authority in the search engine rankings and receive traffic while your own site is slowly climbing from the articles you’ve submitted. A masterful technique.Tip #6: Submit Your New Site To StumbleUpon. So, you will want to submit to StumpleUpon using the toolbar. You want to submit to Reddit.com and MAYBE to OnlyWire, but I prefer to use a tool called BookMarking Demon.Never forget to use your RSS feed and have it broadcasted with RSS announcer or RSS submit! Your article will then instantly have thousands of backlinks. Seriously, I’ve seen 700 or more INSTANT visitors from my feed alone. That means using a tool like this really pays off.Tip #7: Asking for other people to help you out!Tell people to stumble and comment on your blog! This is easy and it’s simply a matter of saying, “before you leave, please stumble this post”.

Search Engine Optimization Tips and Tricks

November 15, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

Content is king and Relevancy is Queen in SEO, having said that let’s come to the point. The first major thing which you should remember when optimizing your website is to look into the content. What your content says about your website? Are your content relevant to your pages? There is nothing worse for a website which is badly written and which don’t have any relevancy.

Your content should be keyword rich means you should put your main keywords in your content which web surfers search using search engines. Maintain the balance between the graphic and content in your website. Your website should not be overloaded with graphics and make sure you focus yourself on the content more which will ultimately grab the attention of visitors.

Next comes the keyword density. You should be careful while putting keywords relating to the text or sub-text. Look at the theme of your website and put try to put those keywords which users are actually finding in search engines. As content is written for the site, be very conscious of the amount of keywords used in the text. This is known as keyword density; it is calculated by dividing the number of number of instances of the word by the total number of words in the text, and multiplying by 100. And remember to maintain it around the 15 – 20% mark. You will now have a truly optimized site and the next thing is to accumulate as many links as you can for your website using off page optimization which includes directory submissions and reciprocal link building.

7 Basic Traffic Generation Strategies for your Website

November 12, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

Traffic Generation is the term for getting potential customers to visit your website. Without customers, you are definitely not going to make any money with your website. This is a very important topic and if you can, please go through as many times as you can.

There are several Key Strategies in generating traffic. It seems short here but if you go into each of the above, you will know it’s a big piece of meat to swallow.Key Strategy #1 : Using SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

SEO is short for search engine optimization, which simply means you’ve made your site the best it can be so that its ranking in the search engines is enhanced. You can optimize both on-site, through the use of keywords, and off-site through directory submissions. Hopefully your domain name contains a keyword or two as well.

Keywords

The best keywords are the most common words you think people type into the search engine when looking for your product. Simply make a list of words you believe will work, then put them into the Overture tool and it will generate other related keywords or phrases that people are searching for. You also need to know how many competing pages there are for the terms you want to use. Just go to Google and put a search of your keywords. It should come out with “Displaying 1-10 of 192,000”. Therefore there are 192,000 of competing pages. Since all this is tedious and rather time consuming, it’s a good idea to use some software that automates the process wherever possible.

On-page optimization

After you know which keywords to use, you will make sure they exist on all site’s your pages. It is especially important that you sprinkle the keywords throughout the body of your text. The density of the keywords should be somewhere between 2% and 5%. Don’t overuse the words though; write in a natural style that incorporates them without overdoing it.If you aren’t sure about the density—and you wouldn’t be, unless you counted the words and divided them out! Consider using a tool like this Keyword Density Analyzer.

Keyword Tags

In addition to the content in the body of the page, you will need keywords in the tags. Tags are located in the html of your program; even if you don’t know how to use html, you should at least learn to locate and edit the tags. Meta tags are supposedly ignored by Google now, but there are other search engines in use so it’s a good idea to go ahead and use them there. The meta tag should not be stuffed with keywords; rather, it should be a tightly written description of what’s on the page. Make it as relevant and descriptive as you can. The title tags are going to be the most important ones, so think carefully about your titles. A title should describe exactly what is on the page; like the meta tag, it can help the visitor trust you by showing that they have found exactly what they are searching for. Key Strategy #2 : Directory Submissions

Once you have created all your tags and content and the site is ready to go, you’ll need to start submitting it to various directories. Listing your site in a directory means that when people are looking for a business or product like yours, they will be able to find you.

You will be able to submit your site yourself by going to each individual search engine and submit your site to them. Alternatively, you can find some reputable companies to submit for you. Most are able to submit for you free but the listing of search engine may not be appealing. Therefore, it’s best to pay some premiums to them and let them hand submit your website to the respective search engine companies. Remember to request for a submission report from them.

Do a search on Google and you will find a lot of companies vying for your submission. Choose those reputable company (most likely to be ranked at the top) and let them do the job. Key Strategy #3 : Forums

Forum is a place on the internet whereby people gather around to discuss on various topics. Topics discussed are usually very niche. So most likely, the forums will be cater to a particular group of people with common interest such as forums for slimming, forums for aeroplanes, etc.

The first and easiest way is to add a link to your signature in all the forums that you visit and post. Simply putting “Visit my new site!” will encourage some of your friends to click on it, but even better is to put what the site is about: “Click here to visit my new airplanes site.”

Of course you must build up your creditability and let people know you. In this way, they will be more likely to click on your link than someone who just come into the forum and advertise their links. This behavior will most likely get you being ban from the forum.

You can also create and embed a forum into your website. In this way, your content will be changing each and everyday, possibly also minutes as people in the forum will be updating comments after comments. This is a surefire way of getting spidered. But first, you must have the capability to build up the member list in the forum. Or else, it will just be another white elephant.

Just bear this in mind – “Sincerity is the key to success”. Key Strategy #4 : Blogs

One of the fastest, easiest ways to get traffic to your site is through the use of a blog. Short for weblog, it is almost like an online diary. Search engines visit blogs often, hence the quick rise in ranking. Two most common blogs available on the internet is WordPress and Blogger.

The way to utilize your blog is to make a post, or at least a change, almost every day. Include a link to a page of yours that you want the search engine to spider.

After you’ve posted, most blog tools will automatically ping various search engines, which notifies them that you’ve made changes to the blog. That’s how new traffic gets to your pages so quickly. If your blogging program doesn’t have this option, you can use tools like Pingomatic to ping them yourself. It is a service to update different search engine that your blog has been updated.

Blogging doesn’t only mean that you write on your blog and let people know you more. It also means you can post at other parties’ blogs and leave behind a link that can be linked back to your blog or website hyperlink. In this way, you create links again. So start blogging to get the traffic going for you.Key Strategy #5 : Article Submissions

Another powerful way to drive traffic is through writing articles. Write a short article, say 4 or 6 paragraphs, about your topic. Then submit it to a site like one of these.

1) Ezine Articles

2) Go Articles

3) Article Geek

4) ArticlesBase

These sites publish articles for their visitors to post on their own site if they so choose. The ezine will usually publish your name and a link to your website at the bottom of your article. If visitors decide to publish your article on their site, they agree to keep the resource box on the page—giving you a free link. So you can see that articles done correctly can give you tons of one-way links to your site. If only 200 people pick up your article, you’ve got 200 new links. People will follow the links, visit your site, and make purchases; it’s very powerful.

Article submissions can also help build your credibility; as an author, you are instantly viewed as an authority on your topic. So it is a great resource for website owners as well as other business owners. Key Strategy #6 : Utilizing your mailing list

Ok. After you have captured the email address of your visitors using your autoresponder, it is time to utilize these mailing list. Don’t overlook the value of your mailing list when link-building. Always include a link to your main page in every email that you send out. The key is to send your mailing list a link to your site and not having the content put in the email. Put the content in the page that the link points to. Many Internet Marketers create a right-side column, like the navigation bar on a web page, inside their emails with pertinent links: their main page, a few products related to the topic of the email, etc.Key Strategy #7 : Getting Traffic with PPC

If you want to be sure your website is viewed, one of the fastest ways to drive traffic is through the PPC search engines. There are several, but I will just go into Google Adwords and Yahoo! Marketing Solutions. These 2 PPC search marketing tools have captured 75% of the market. So if you are able to succeed in these 2 PPC search marketing tools, I don’t see any reason why you will fail in the other search marketing tools. Both work almost the same way. You set up an account as an advertiser, then create short ads using relevant keywords or key phrases. They run the ads and you agree to pay any time someone clicks on your ad. I will only go through Google Adwords here.

Google Adwords

Google Adwords are the most successful pay per click advertisement on the internet. You pay every time someone clicks on your ad. The position of your ad doesn’t necessarily depend on how much you are willing to fork out of your pocket for the relevant keywords. The word here is ‘RELEVANCE’. Yes. The more relevant your ad is, the less you will be paying. Google builds up their reputation by giving results that are the most relevant to the searches. And they have been going with this philosophy ever since. So if your ad is very relevant, they will reward you with a higher position than someone who pays more but having a less relevant ad than you have. Google Adwords has lots of tools to help make your ads more search engine friendly. Below is an example of Google Adwords sponsored links.

Once you get used to it, though, writing Google ads is a matter of common sense. You will waste money if people click and don’t buy, so just like your web page copy you need to be short and to the point. Every word matters. Be very specific, and focus on one benefit (not feature) of your product.

Once you’ve written an ad or two, put it to work and then test. Many people run what is called a split test, using both sets of copy to see which one works best. Sometimes changing one word in an ad can drastically raise your conversion rate—so test, then keep testing. Every word really does count.

Some of the key terms you must be familiarize with are:

Total Clicks – This refers to the total number of click on the header of your ad. That means you will be charged for the click. Sometimes it’s refer to as click-through.

Total Impressions – This refers to the total number of time the ad has been displayed.

Total CTR – This stands for Click Through Rate. It means the total number of clicks you got divided by the total number of time the ad has been displayed. It can be shown by:

Therefore, if you got a high CTR and low conversion ratio, you will be in deep trouble. And CTR is very important in Google Adwords as it also determines your relevance of your ad.

You must be wondering why I keep emphasizing the word ‘relevance’. This is because this word is crucial to the position of your ad and the cost of your ad. You can learn more about Google Adwords by going to the Adwords Learning CenterOk. That will be all for the strategies of traffic generation. These are just some of the more basic steps in getting you started. If you are still not very sure, please read through it again as these will be crucial in your survival in the world of internet marketing.

I’m neither a great internet marketer nor someone who has created a large fortune from the internet. I’m just someone who wants to get out of the rat race – out of all the office politics. I hope to show you the way into the world of Internet Marketing – FREE. I thought knowledge should be shared. You can read more about him from his blog at LIMF on Blog.

Article Submission Equals Free Traffic

November 12, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

In my humble opinion article submission should be the main “block” in any internet marketeers arsenal of seo (search engine optimisation) tactics. It is a proven resource that has been used extensively
and “successfully” by all of the “big players” in the im world today.Ultimately it is virtually the only free resource available on the web to create massive “laser targeted traffic” to “your” sites.
Article submission is one of the most popular ways of website promotion today. In essence article submission is the only free way to promote your website and link that produces real results almost immediately.Thankfully article submission is still a white-hat, ethical technique used by webmasters to gain new one way links and help promote their website or specific link urls. As I have certainly found article submission is an excellent way to brand yourself and your website with very little if any cost involved.
In my opinion article submission is the most “cost effective” way to promote your website as has been proven by many internet marketers. Undeniably article submission is one of the best ways to give weight to your products and services on the internet and best of all it’s “free”.Article submission is a proven way to get your site “traffic” and “links”, so “your” service or products get noticed around the world. Thereafter blasting your site’s traffic thru the stratosphere. Again article submission whilst not being the newest way of off-page optimization process has been proven to work time and time again.
Article submission should be a critical part of your web marketing strategy as if your not using it you really are “missing” out big style. Article submission is a common practice for seo where you create a quality content page on a niche subject, and submit it to several article-directory websites which accept industry-specific or broad articles. Unfortunately especially amongst newbies article submission is often an over-looked part of their “traffic” building “strategy”.
Article submission is a precise science that can ultimately determine your results and your success in online marketing. However to slightly counter everything i have said so far, article submission is not the right way, as In individual once in a “blue moon” type of effort. However mass article submission is.
Article submission is a great way to get your website recognized in google as well as in other search engines as i for one have proven many times. Article submission is basically posting your article to different article directories with the link pointing back at your website. Without doubt article submission is the best way to increase the back links of your website, Article submission is also the #1 way to undercut your costs getting your website ranked higher on the search engines. Article submission is without doubt the most efficient free and effective way to improve the ranking of your website.
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
The seo advantage in article submission is that the search engines give far more weightage to unique content and the links embedded in the content. Therefore article submission will have several positive effects on your website.
search engine optimization is not just submitting to major search engines and looking for traffic to come by thats for the “amateurs” and we aren’t “amateurs” are we? Or you won’t be after reading this will you?
Article submission is a great tactic and the rewards can be plentiful, it is is a key aspect in search engine optimisation and neglecting this means voluntarily saying goodbye to untapped, traffic, opportunities and resources.
Big search engine optimisation firms have lost their iron grip ,it wasn’t until I really went into overdrive with my article submissions, that the “aha” light really went on and it hit me smack between the eyes. There is no doubt that article submission plays a vital role in the online success of a business and is an important strategy.
Content
If “you” write quality articles and submit them to reputable websites looking for targeted content then I assure you that your content will get huge exposure for free just for its value of uniqueness. As a result they will stand a much higher chance as counting as powerful incoming links instead of just duplicate content.
One comment or feedback I received from a “very popular website ” to demonstrate the above point was, “the articles were of better than average quality, very well written and did not duplicate any content on our own sites”.
Original content is what the web and the major search engines are screaming out for. An experienced webmaster knows the power of original, unique content and therefore that is why they deliver it to the search engines by the truckfull. That is why they can trully call themselves “webmasters”.
Getting the unique content distributed online so that your website and links can be seen by a greater audience is vital. The article itself will create content for the back link that is relevant to your website,as all of the top search engines love good content, article submission can be a very effective and much better way to improve the search engine ranking and link popularity of “your” website than just about any other method currently available.
You will get your article published all over the web when you submit it to an e-zine publisher that has a free content directory on their web site. For especially large or successful ezines, you might even offer to produce unique content for their ezines in exchange for the publicity, rather than simply offering articles you have previously run in your own ezine. Your articles are then potentially published on thousands of article sites where webmasters seeking free content pick up the articles and publish them on their blogs and niche sites.
Not only will your article submissions give you immediate links from PR4 and above sites but as bloggers from content specific sites look for articles in these directories and publish them to their blogs you will also gain those highly relevant content specific links as well.
Google
You can earn many hits in google through implementing article submission as one of “your” key marketing strategies. To demonstrate this I went to google and typed in the phrase “free internet marketing advice” and I hit the jackpot. Of course, the first pattern I noticed was that I had found all of these articles by simply searching for a specific key phrase in google & yahoo. So I went back to google & yahoo and tried other key phrases. No matter what phrase I searched for in google I found hundreds or even thousands of free articles written by people who actually knew what they were talking about.
Since google sees back links as an indication of an “important” site, the author’s google ranking was benefiting greatly just by his use of article submission. And finally, many of the authors had google adwords displayed on their main site, so they were earning revenue whenever a visitor from one of the article sites came and clicked.
Writing
Writing a good article about a subject or item can help tell more about your services or product than any other form of “marketing” currently available on the web today. Writing an article and getting it published in an ezine is the best way of creating quality back links to your web site.
By writing articles & submitting them to various article directories, you can give yourself an opportunity to share your ideas with a wide range of audience. I think of it as purchasing a link, although instead of using cash, it is paid using 3-5 hours of writing time. I have found huge gains by contacting websites directly, even by phone and asking them to post an article to us, even in return for some article writing for them.
As you develop your writing skills and publish more and more articles regularly you are recognized as an expert in your field. The entire article marketing process consists of a few components namely researching for keywords and content, writing an article and submitting that article. This ensures you can set aside time to focus on article writing and churn out more articles for posting.
By writing about something interesting in your field or addressing the concerns that your customers have about your business/industry, you become a source of information to them.
I fully understand you might not have either the time or motivation to do all the writing yourself. Thats why i will give you the biggest tip you will ever receive. You don’t have to do all the writing yourself.
However, If you are looking to build quality traffic to your website you should seriously consider writing an article about your niche and linking it to your website. This is what makes it worthwhile writing informative articles in the first place, seeing them published and reaping the rewards of increased website visitors.
Conclusion
Article submission is the one tool that has the ability to bring free organic traffic to your website. As a result article submission has become the most effective method of gaining free quality one way incoming links to your site and has become standard in website search engine optimization strategies.
Undeniably article submission is one of the key elements to garner more visitors to your site. Therefore article submission is a must in your plan to make your site reach the top of google, yahoo, msn etc on your desired keywords.
Article submission is certainly one of the best ways I have found to promote a website or blog as I have yet to find another free method that is as effective at producing or delivering “laser targeted visitors” in the same numbers.
Unresevedly I am happy to go on record and say that article submission is the way to promote your website and link, that will produce real results almost immediately, and will give you targeted traffic and much more popularity in the world of writers.
I’m in the process of creating a few high-quality websites, and one of the primary ways I want to monetize is using google adsense. Posting free articles to the major article directories sites is the fastest and easiest free way to make more sales, increase your google ranking, boost instant traffic getting backlinks, link building and push your alexa rating through the roof.
So my “cast iron guarantee” is that if you take action and start writing and submitting articles now! You will be well on your way to “achieving success” with your online business. So don’t procrastinate or put it off any longer get started today.
