Those websites which were getting good amount of traffic from MSN search engines they are very much cautious about how to get their website top in Bing. Blogging to the Bank-3 Steps to Optimize Your Blog
November 19, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment
The blogging world these days keeps growing bigger and bigger before our eyes. Many people are tapping into the power that blogs have and are starting to make their own. The thing is though that many bloggers that are beginners tend to fail because they stop blogging out of frustration of not getting it right the first time. Blogging is an easy thing to do, but it is actually getting your blog to convert which is the hardest.
Today, I would like to go over some things that can help you out with the conversion of your blog, so you can make more money from it.
1. Content of Blog
You must have fresh unique content coming to your blog everyday. You pretty much want all unique content as you are trying to out beat other websites. A blog should only be about one topic and one topic only so you won’t confuse your reader as to what your point is.
You can be opinionated in your blog and you can write your posts as if you are having a conversation with your visitors. Getting on a one on one with your visitors will make them want to read more about your content.
2. Design of the Blog
Now, your blog does not have to look fancy or anything, but it is good to make it look clean and organized. Some people think that your blog has to stand out from others. In my opinion I have some blogs that look like other people’s blogs, but my content is much more informative then theirs.
A blog design should be easy to read and easy to navigate through. Blogger has many different templates you can choose to get your blog designed in a nice manner.
3. Traffic
Now, in order for people to even know that your blog exists, you must send traffic to it. There are people out there that have the nicest blogs that are very useful to read. But, they never end up sending traffic to it thinking that posting is enough. It is not; in fact you must send traffic to it daily at first to get the search engines to rank you. Once you get ranked in the search engines then you can slow down with manually sending traffic to it.
So, there are the top 3 things you should keep in mind when blogging. Although it may seem to be frustrating at first, you will eventually understand it.

3 SEO Tips to Optimize Your Blog For Bing

BING, the new search engine from Microsoft, has come blasting on the search engine scene and taken the Internet by storm. However, many Internet Marketers and Bloggers are unsure of how to optimize their blogs for it. Here are 3 tips to help you optimize your blog to get the huge amount of traffic that is using BING.
Tip #1 – Use your keywords in the domain name. I’ve had some new sites rank very well in BING simply because they have their keywords in the domain. This is something you want to keep in mind when registering new domains.
Tip #2 – BING loves backlinks. Just like Google and the old MSN search engine, BING loves anchored backlinks pointing back to your site. It seems they may have taken a few pages out of Google’s page book about ranking websites.
Tip #3 – Lot’s of text. From my experience, the blogs that are doing the best have very long post. It seems that BING puts a lot of importance on the amount of text on each page. While I do have pages ranking well that have the average amount of text on a page, the ones that are really doing well have more than 600 words of text on them.
So there you have it. My top 3 tips on getting your blog ranked in the first page of BING search engine. To my surprise, the traffic that BING is delivering has converted really well. It’s too early to tell yet whether they will be a real contender to Google, but I’ll take every bit of traffic they’ll send me.

How to Optimize Your Website For Bing

Now that new search engines like Bing are being talked about more readily, it’s clear that people want to know how to optimize for Microsoft’s latest introduction to search. Those who visit Bing will find that the site provides general search and a category search. Other than a large graphic, the search engine doesn’t appear to have a lot behind it. However, Microsoft has reported a more intelligent search engine and new search experience.
The question that website owners want answered is how the new engine produces results differently than the previous search engine and what optimization techniques should be used compared to those used for Google and Yahoo! I’ve done quite a bit of research on the subject and it appears that there are only a few factors that might influence Bing results compared to Google. The thing to keep in mind is that following SEO best practices will rule the day.
When looking at top ranked websites, an in depth analysis can be done to see which factors vary between top results. A recent comparison that I viewed showed that the number one ranking website on Bing was able to keep a leg up on the competition by having an older domain age, and having inbound links from websites that included the primary keyword in the referring site’s title tag. In short, the top web site was successful in building inbound links from other SEO sites and directories as opposed to being from unrelated websites.
What I find particularly interesting is that Bing is relying on many of the same factors that Google has been using from day one. The factor you should be most concerned with is inbound linking. Both search engines like inbound links. More importantly, they like relevant in bound links. Use this information to guide your SEO campaigns and determine which sites to target for link exchanges.
Organic search should be at the top of your list. If it is then you know where you need to focus, inbound linking. If you haven’t gotten on the organic rankings band wagon, then start with on page optimization. Once your site is formatted appropriately, start with off page optimization and link building.
The other place you want to focus is content. Quality content is vital. But trying to attract users with quality content alone is not enough to rank on top for competitive keywords. Make is easy for others to link to your content and give them a reason to do so. Add time to your daily efforts to acquire links from relevant and authoritative sites to increase your rankings and keep you on top of search engine results.
You may be asking yourself which search engine you should be optimizing your web site for. Based on what I’ve seen, I’m encouraged by preliminary Bing related findings. I believe that Bing is using many of the same factors that Google uses to evaluate a site’s relevance to a search query. As always, focus on white hat methods to optimize your site and follow SEO basics.
If you’re looking for a quick way to rank out on top for Bing, Google, or Yahoo! for that matter, consider leveraging existing websites that has some age, a number of inbound links from authority websites, and quality content.
