How Can CPA Advertising Help Your Business?

December 14, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

Online advertising has become a very popular way for both small and large businesses to promote their goods and services. Advertising your business online can help you reach large numbers of potential customers and is usually an effective way for you to increase your sales.
One type of online advertising is Cost Per Action, or CPA advertising. This is also sometimes referred to as Pay Per Action, or PPA, advertising. Your business’s cost for this method of advertising is determined by how many times Web site visitors follow through with a particular action. In other words, your advertising cost is directly related to activities your advertisement viewers complete.
You are the one that will determine the actions that lead to your advertising costs. Depending on your type of business, a required action could be designated as submitting a form for product or service information, registration with your Web site, or purchasing a product or service from your business. You can choose one or more actions that will be the basis for your advertising costs. The various actions carry different advertising charges. You can adjust the required actions to accommodate your advertising needs and budget.
Cost Per Action advertising is the preferred method of online advertising for many businesses. You will only be charged for advertising when Web site visitors click on your online ad, connect to your Web site, and then perform a specific action that indicates they are interested in your product or service. Many times, potential customers will click on an interesting ad, review the business’s Web site, and then decide they are not really interested in what the business has to offer.
With Cost Per Action advertising, you can have an unlimited number of people connect to your Web site through your online ad, but you will only pay advertising costs for the number of people that actually follow through with a desired action, such as placing an order for goods or services.
Another advantage of Cost Per Action advertising is that you will be directed to potential customers that have a genuine interest in your specific product or service.
Most Web site visitors will not take the time to fill out a registration or information request form unless they think it will be to their advantage to do so. Visitors who honestly feel your business can benefit them in some way will fill out your Web site forms, and you will be able to gather a good collection of potential customer names.
You will be able to focus your attention on these visitors, without wasting your time, effort and money on visitors that viewed your site but are not sincerely interested in what your business offers.
Cost Per Action advertising is a bit more costly than other types of online advertising, but it may be easier on your advertising budget in the long run. You will only be paying charges according to the number of visitors that actually complete specific actions instead of according to the total number of visitors that view your advertisement.
It may or may not work for you based on what you’re advertising but it’s definitely worth researching it more.

How To Acquire Good Internet Copywriting Skills

November 19, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

Latest global online statistics has revealed that out of the millions of online businesses proliferating in the Internet nowadays, only 2% of them actually are able to generate sales.
Now imagine the disappointment the owners of the remaining 98% of the businesses are. They have invested significant amount of capital into the venture, have developed the most interesting products, have paid dearly for online advertisement placements and have hired the most effective marketers.
Where do these online businesses fall? Another study indicate that online buyers do not purchase merchandise and services from sites that fail to impress and persuade them.
And so, online business owners get back to basics. They start looking at the text or the words that come along with graphics and videos in their online operations.
Internet copywriting
The emergence of the Internet in the middle of the 1990s have led to the emergence of online businesses. And so, copywriters are given a great alternative avenue where they could generate a significant amount of income.
As many as there are online businesses around, Internet copywriters also proliferate. But, unfortunately, out of the millions of online copywriters around, only a few are effective in coming up with effective Internet copywriting pieces.
Internet copywriting is identified by recent online studies as the ultimate source of failure or success of an online business. Thus, those copies are responsible for making or breaking the entire online business.
Owners of online businesses are now recognizing the fact that they must extract the best and most convincing Internet copies from their copywriters.
Internet copywriters are facing greater pressure into how they can refurbish their copywriting skills and start coming up with outputs that would really sell.
Making the words sell
Equally controversial is the recent findings of studies that show that words used in an Internet copywriting output dictate the outcome of the entire article.
Notably, copies with grammatical flaws and very simple language use are the ones that generate higher sales, compared to counterparts that are written perfectly when scaled against conventional journalism standards.
To the same effect, accomplished copywriters are not always the source of effective Internet copies. Rookies or those who are new to Internet copywriting are considered taking an edge, or at least an equal footing, over their seasoned counterparts.
How could that be? Well, basically, experts assert that online copywriting is like personally and actually selling products. The more that the readers feel that who is talking through the copies are sincere, the more they are inclined to believing and buying the products.
In actual marketing, the better talkers do not usually generate better sales figures. Those who are rather shy, but sincere, are the ones winning the sales ledger race. Don’t you notice that?
So if you are an Internet copywriter and you want your words to sell, make sure you retain that sincerity in your piece. You do not need to be overly creative, highly technical or grammatically savvy for that purpose.
Focus on audience
It would also help of the Internet copies are directly targeted at intended audience. Before copywriting for the Internet, you, the copywriter, must know the demographics and frequency of visits of the online users.
Write with the particular audience in mind. Be humble and sincere. You must also write as if you are actually talking to the online readers. Try doing that, and you would see your efforts translated into results in no time at all.
You also read online copies of others, so you must have a gut feeling of which types of copies will surely sell over the Internet.
Remember, the graphics and the videos, if there are any, would only be complementary to the text. The copies would also serve as the marketing agent that would work online 24-7, so make it as interesting, persuasive, sincere and effective as you can.
Put your heart into writing and your keyboards would surely do the tricks.
Internet copywriting is never an easy task. But to be acquire effectiveness, you are not asked to make significant investments. Only focus and be careful in using the right words, which should be written in the right order and aimed to the right readers.

Ways To Effective Online Copywriting

November 19, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

Online copywriting is surely the ‘in-thing’ nowadays. That is because with the rapid popularity of the Internet as a medium, people are almost always getting online for many of their traditional transactions.
Yes, the Internet is different from other media in a way that it facilitates the convergence of all types of media portals, be it the television, the radio and the newspaper.
Banking transactions can now be coursed through the Internet, as well as shopping purchases, education, books and basic services. Everything that is sold through the conventional stores can now be sold through the online medium.
Online businesses are making use of the talents and skills of seasoned copywriters, who are hired to provide the Internet site with convincing content that basically aim to sell.
Thus, demand for online copywriting has been accelerated through the years. Many writers see this development as an added opportunity that could be translated into further revenues.
But one problem is arising. It is estimated that only 2% of all online businesses worldwide are actually succeeding to sell products and services online. What happens to the other 98%?
Well, they are left in the cold, probably because the content posted through their sites are not as good and as convincing as those posted by the successful 2%.
What could be the problem? Well, experts have identified copywriting. Is it the fault of the copywriter, or the business owner? The answer is neither. Read on and find out who is the real culprit behind those failures.
Online copywriting
Online copywriting is no different from traditional copywriting. Both make sure that the outputs are creating interests among readers and significantly generating sales.
But the problem is there is information overload over the Internet. And there are millions of online businesses, making the competition more intense.
Thus, the ordinary copywriter must strive harder to be more effective that the competitors. And there are thousands of copywriters abounding online that are equally, if not more, seasoned and well-accomplished.
The treatment of online copywriting is no different in a sense that focus is particularly given to the readers. The styles are also the same—persuasion. So why do others beat the rest of the pool of online copywriters?
Effective Online Copywriting
There are a few measures that would help an online copywriter be as effective as he can be. The following are some of the recommended ways on how you can be an effective online copywriter:
·Write for your intended readers, not the online business owners. Many copywriters fall to the trap that they must write to impress, so they use complicated words that the readers must check on to the dictionary to comprehend what he is saying.
·Persuade. Make sure the words you use strong adjectives and verbs that could almost directly command readers to move and make the purchase abruptly.
·Arouse interest among readers. This is where a simple research on the readers’ demographics would set in. If you know their common interest, then you can use that when crafting lead statements.
·Be engaging. Write as if you are personally talking to the intended online users of the content. Do not be overly boring nor too extravagant and vulgar just to catch attention.
·As much as possible, reflect sincerity in your outputs. Sometimes, you have to make some lies to be effective. For example, if you yourself are not believing on the product you are selling, you could do some white lie. But make sure you still sound genuinely sincere.
·Pay particular attention to the content rather than to grammatical correctness. It would be advisable of you remain grammatically flawless, but sometimes, writers find it hard to maintain focus while being overly attentive to the requirements of grammar and usage. Your editor will proofread the material, anyways.
·Be straight-to-the-point. Be concise, but accurate.
Overall, effective online copywriters are motivated to come put with their quality outputs. To establish that much needed motivation, you could bear in mind that in the copywriting world, you are as good as your last output.
Thus, if your copies are good and effective, more projects and clients will come your way. You could generate more income, and enjoy the perks of generating more money to spend on your simple luxuries.
Still not enough to kick your online writing juices?

November 5, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

Now that you have an account, have done some following and have some followers it’s time to contribute and meet some new people.  (Note, for the first few weeks I suggest following people in your niche or interested in your niche so that you build a base of people to build relationships with.)

The whole follow people and get followed back practice, in mass, was not very appealing to me before but I now mix up the techniques that I use to get followers. We will chat more about that later.  Today it is all content.

When I began tweeting I was posting about myself and my own business.  I would just post some of the tasks that I performed for my business that day.  Maybe 6 to 12 Tweets per day.    Then I began posting some of my favorite quotes.  I usually scheduled all of my quotes for the week on Sunday night.  I was sending 2 to 3 quotes a day when I started.

I realized that I was earning a lot more followers by posting famour quotes than I had been gaining by Tweeting about myself.  I knew people were now finding value in my posts because my followers growing like never before.  The more valuable the information I Tweeted the more people retweeted my posts and the more followers I gained.

As I learned more and more about Twitter posting good content I posted more and more quotes for a few months.  So I began to Tweet about my favorite blog posts from other bloggers.    Once I began tweeting links my interaction really stepped it up a level.  I have always used Googe Alerts to track my favorite topics and keywords related to my online businesses.  So I began to put Google Alerts to work.

Each morning I would read through all of my Google Alerts and post links to the most compelling and valuable content.  I was using Tweetlater to schedule all of these excellent stories and was earning more followers than earning before].

When I realized that posting to my favorite content was working I decided to begin Tweeting about my own content.  As my original blog content grew and grew the more I posted linked to my own site.  And the more often I blogged the more Twitter followers I got and the more readers I acquired for my blog.

So I was experimenting with content and began finding out what drove the most visitors to my blog and what got the most interest from my new found Twitter community.
