If the customers are not won over on going to the merchant website, then you don’t get you commissions. Make sure that the affiliate products you are endorsing are worthy or in the business context, saleable. You need to ask yourself – if I were the client, would I purchase it? will I recommend it to my family or my friends? If you can’t convince yourself or your family and friends to buy it, then consider your next alternative.Another is the affiliate product’s history. Search into the earlier and existing sales informations, their tried and verified affiliate promoting systems and other affiliate’s reviews.  Though, success of the product actually banks upon, this one is still very important. The sales accounts don’t only present how good the affiliate product is but they also speaks about the products’ reliableness and the concern or the merchant’s reputation as well. Furthermore, look into and carefully consider the company’s commission program. Your aim for joining the affiliate program is to make money, so make certain you will be paid for all your attempts reasonably. If you don’t have enough time to promote intensively the affiliate products by creating banners, graphics and articles, then choose affiliate platforms that assist you to make these for your campaign. It would be great if the affiliate merchant supplies training on how to effectively promote the affiliate programs on the Net. Affiliate Products – the Secrets to Making Money

November 20, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

Thousands of people enter the business world and start new online affiliate ventures every day. And unfortunately, there are few typical mistakes that these new business owners make that hamper their business significantly. Sometimes it can be so damaging to a business, they will conclude that making money using affiliate products is next to impossible. But, nothing could be further from the truth. Affiliate products are an excellent way to start an online business if you just follow a few simple rules.

Frequently, inexperienced people tend to fall for the charm of making huge profits from a single sale. If you find yourself doing the same thing, you need to ask yourself a simple question ‘Why would some one give away such a huge percentage of each sale’? The answer is also very simple. Very few merchants are nice guys and just want you to make money. In most cases, affiliate products that give away a very high percentage of the purchase price do so because these products don’t sell well.

So, would you rather earn $100 every few months, or would you prefer to make $10 a day?  If you are any good at math, you’ll take the $10 a day. Steer clear of those high percentage affiliate products and focus on making consistent sales. You will make a lot more money in the long run.

Also, don’t select an affiliate product to sell on a whim. I’ve fallen prey to this myself. You hear about a hot new product that is getting some buzz online, and instead of considering all the facts, you just rush in and start promoting. This is almost always a mistake. Only promote products that are closely related to the content of your site.

And last but not the least; don’t try to sell too many affiliate products at one time. Get your hands on just one or two good items that are related to your niche and promote them heavily. Only as you begin to generate some profits, should you add another product. Using these techniques, you will slowly but surely increase the amount of earnings you produce from affiliate products.

5 Easy Steps: How To Make A Million From Your Business Blog In A Year?

November 19, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

So you run somewhat successful blog – you have a decent traffic and generate few dollars here and there from AdSense, but it still looks like a hobby, not a real business. Can it be changed? Can you find better ways to monetize your publication if you don’t have an army of advertising sales agents selling your ads, and affiliate network ignore you since no ad network really runs B2B offers?

As you know majority of advertising networks focus on consumer market while your blog targets business professional. If your blog is still generates limited traffic, running CPM probably wouldn’t pay off, neither pay per lead programs, since reputable companies that pay over $50 a lead would rather advertise with more established publishers.

Feels like you don’t have many options, right? Well, wrong!

Here is how you get retired within 3 years:

Step 1.

You locate an affiliate network with B2B merchants that run PPS offers with VERY high payoff.

It’s easier said then done, but I’ve found one for you. Actually it’s the only affiliate network that has technology and infrastructure to serve B2B advertisers, even those that don’t close their sales on-line. You would think that there is no way to track a sale if payment transactions are not process on-line, but those guys have it all figured out. You will see status of each lead that their forms capture on the advertiser’s landing page. You can login any time to the system and see how leads move through the sales pipeline, how sales milestones are reached by advertisers’ sales force (contracts are signed, PO placed etc.) and what is your revenue forecast for next 6 months (since you are selling a product with a long sales cycle, don’t expect the campaign’s performance in a first week). So, IdeaMama Ad Network.(bookmark it – IdeaMama Ad Network.). You can try to find other suitable networks, but I didn’t find any, zero. So. Let’s go with it for now.

Step 2.

You select few merchants with very high pay out, $5,000-$10,000 per sale. It could be IT or consulting companies that market to multinational corporations, law firms, you name it. Their average order exceeds $50,000 per client and they easily can pay 10-20% commission on each sale since their margins usually pretty high.

Step 3.

Develop content that presents benefits of your advertisers, give them generous editorial content to pre-sell their offers to your audience. Keep the language very professional, deliver your point with minimum words, add facts, case studies, white papers. Remember, you target professionals that know their business. They are looking for a real content on your blog, give it to them. Add 5-10 articles per advertiser, it won’t take long.

Step 4.

Start driving traffic to your advertisers’ corporate web sites (client showcase section, case study section, white paper library). Choose the page that really sells as none of your advertisers have a real “landing page” since they don’t sell on-line. Log in to IdeaMama’s affiliate interface once a week to check the status of your leads and estimated income from each advertiser in next 6 months.

Step 5.

Drop merchants that have lousy sales team. If you see that they don’t move your leads through the pipeline, and no deals seem to be any close to be signed with your prospects, fire them. Go back and check for new offers on the network. There will be always some better companies. But don’t drop merchants too fast, give them at least couple months to prove their ability to make money for you.

Let’s do a math now.

You selected 10 advertisers.

Their average sale per client is $50,000.

Your average commission per sale is 20% ($10,000).

You generate 50-100 leads for each merchant a month.

They close only 1 deal a month from your leads.

You make $50,000 for each merchant monthly.

What does it mean for you?

It means 10 deals a month that is equal $10,000*1*10= $100,000 a month >> $1,200,000 a year.

Can you accomplish the same result with pay per impression or per click campaigns if your blog or magazine generates not more than 10,000 a month? Well, good luck with that thinking even if yoru are an award winning writer!

May be you won’t make your million in a year, may be it will take 3 years, but the road map is very straightforward: choose companies which deliver great value and write about them, share your passion with readers, profile the entrepreneurs behind the enterprises, promote their service and product, expose them. Create a very niche publication, don’t spread too wide. Deliver real value in your content.

Be real and build a real business where others can’t.

Share your knowledge and wealth with others. There is no other way to happiness than sharing.

A Money Making Method to Link Affiliate Products in Your Articles

November 18, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

If you are just starting your online business, you are probably using (at least you should be using) affiliate products for some portion on your business. If you are marketing your business writing articles, you are certainly familiar with the author’s resource box. This is the section of the article where you include links to your website, blog, of products that you are promoting.

But what kind of links is best and how many should you use? I find that it best to use a total of three links. One link, usually the first, should direct viewers to the squeeze page on your site. This link will attract new subscribers onto your list and insures that your business will continue too grow. I suggest that you use the remaining two links to direct people to either your own product or affiliate products that you are recommending. If you are just starting out, you probably don’t have your own product, so in that case, you should use two links to affiliate products.

But you should NEVER use a link pointing directly to the merchant’s sales page. This will cause problems and a loss of business in the future. Why is that? On a regular basis, all but the best affiliate products disappear. This is normal. Merchants withdraw products for many reasons. It can be because of lagging sales, or the product has become obsolete, or a thousand other reasons. But whatever the reason, you should know that it happens on regular basis.

How does this affect you? If you’ve submitted 100 articles to 25 different directories promoting an affiliate product that has disappeared, those articles are now worthless to you. And it is almost certain that you don’t have the time to edit those worthless articles.

To prevent this from happening to you, you should link your affiliate products through a re-direct page on your website. That way, if an affiliate product goes out of business, it is an easy matter to find a very similar product and alter your re-direct page so that it links to the new affiliate product. That way, all of your work is not lost.

Outsourcing: How to Make Money Without Going to Meetings and Seminars

November 12, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

In the past more companies have outsourced many of the functions of customer service and other aspects of their business. Oftentimes what is overlooked is the opportunity to make money without computer skills by outsourcing your Internet business needs as well. Here are a few ways you can do that.
In this example we are going to use blogging as a way to make money. I want to show you how you can do this without any computer skills at all.
1. The first thing you will need to outsource is setting your blog up. Did you know that for less than $100 you can have a professional blog set up and running to make you money.
Today blogging platforms such as WordPress offer any Internet business an excellent way to get an online presence very quickly. You may want to pay someone to set up your blog. It takes the stress off of you.
2. Affiliate marketing is a great way to monetize your blog. Most Online Programs offer excellent images that you can add to your blog.
The nice thing about affiliate marketing is the merchants will collect the money and ship the product for you. You earn a commission for doing this.
Another thing you can do is offer a home business opportunity as your product itself. The company that you represent will provide you with marketing materials that you can add to your blog. Again you can outsource that and have your blog builder add the graphics for you.
3. Content on your blog is most important for the search engines. You can always leverage your time by hiring a blog writer. Over time the fresh content will be more valuable and worth many times over what you payed someone to write them for you. The key to blogging is to social bookmark your blog post and some writing companies will provide this service as well.
4. One of the fastest ways to get people to your website is to create back links in your blog or website. You can hire people to post comments in other people’s blogs and create back links this way. You can also hire someone to post in discussion forums and brand yourself as an expert on the products you promote.
There is much more than we can write on the subject of outsourcing to make money without computer skills. The point is there are people who will do things for you online and do it at a reasonable price. Your lack of computer skills does not have to stop you from building a successful Internet business.

Google Sniper Review – Is This The Holy Grail Of Making Money Online Or Not?

November 10, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

Google Sniper is a system that George Brown, the author, uses to make a monthly income online. He claims that this system makes him over $15,000 a month and backs up these claims with video proof and screenshots of income. George built his first sniper site back in March 2008 and he says that each site averages him $300 a month income.

Who Is It For?

This system is designed for beginner marketers and intermediate affiliates. Even more advanced affiliates may pick up useful new tips, but essentially it’s aimed at the beginner to intermediate affiliate marketer that wants to make money online by promoting other merchants products.

How Does It Work?

The way Google Sniper system works to make money is by creating small sites based around a keyword to drive highly targeted traffic to the merchant, thus making affiliate sales. Obviously there is more to it than that. Google Sniper covers key topics including:

- Choosing a Niche- Choosing a product to promote- Finding profitable keywords- Create site based around keywords- Create content- Ranking your site on first page of Google- Traffic- Conversions to maximize sales- Autopilot income

He also covers more advanced topics such as LSI ( Latent Semantic Indexing ) and explains it in a way that makes it easy and straight forward for a newbie to understand and implement. With this system, once everything is setup, the traffic is free organic search engine traffic so other than hosting and domain costs, it’s virtually 100% bottom line profit for you as an affiliate.

What Do You Get For Your Hard Earned Money?

When you purchase Google Sniper you get a 93 page manual in pdf format that you can download which explains the system step-by-step. To accompany the manual is a series of 8 videos which include action steps you can follow and copy to start building and profiting from your own sniper sites.

On my internet marketing blog you’ll find a full review of this system including more information on rankings and whether it’s worthy of a purchase at => Google Sniper Review

Hot Affiliate Marketing Tips for This Year

October 31, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

As the Internet changes, so marketing has to change with it, and that includes affiliate marketing. My affiliate marketing tips for this year include a different attitude to how to attract buyers and toward websites and blogs.

Presell don’t sell

The whole point of affiliate marketing is that you presell products, you don’t sell them. Trying to sell affiliate products, with banners and ads that scream ‘Buy Me’ are some of the biggest mistakes I see being made by affiliates. As an affiliate, your job is to get the prospect to the merchant’s site, and let the merchant do the selling.

Be careful, though, when selecting banners and text ads from merchants. Some do not understand the need to presell either, and they will offer sales material rather than pre-sales material. Don’t use it, write your own. That, then, is the first important tip for this year.

Get a website

Many affiliates do not have a website, and rely on Adwords to make money. This used to work, and can still work with impulsive buy products, but not with many products. The problem is simple – they don’t trust the seller.

This has nothing to do with the internet, by the way, it is just a fact of life. People like to feel comfortable with firms they deal with, and need to have been in contact with them five to seven times before they are ready to trust them enough to buy their products.

If you send someone directly to a merchant’s site from Adwords, you are invisible, and they merchant is a complete unknown. So you have little chance of making a sale. It is true that many seasoned marketers do, but believe me, the bulk of their income comes from elsewhere.

As an affiliate, you need to set yourself up as an expert in your niche, and that means you need a website. It does not need to be big. Five to ten pages are enough to do the job. Here, you give information, and get the prospects to sign up for your list so you can send offers to them.

So, my second affiliate marketing tip for this year is to get our own web site.

Write a blog

My third affiliate marketing tip is to write a blog. This can be added to any site that has Cpanel and Fantastico, which will install Wordpress for you in less than a minute. You can also get a blog at services like blogger.com and wordpress.com, but these have less authority than one you host yourself.

Straight away you can start posting to your blog, and you can write anything you like related to your topic. Not only is this useful, but it is fun.

So here are my three affiliate marketing tips for this year: Presell don’t sell; get a website to support your affiliate business; and set up a blog.

Blogging Tips – How to Earn the Monthly Income of a CEO Through Blogging

October 26, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

Blogging is an art of self-expression. Through the means of their blogs, people have a tendency to share their personal feelings and thoughts with like-minded individuals. Some blogs have millions of visitors while others have much less. Nonetheless, blogging experts clearly suggest that if you play smart, you can earn a living through this medium.

1. Opt For Product Reviews

There are various merchants who are on the lookout for blogs, which are getting a large number of visitors. Through the means of these blogs, they aspire to get their products reviewed. It all depends on the popularity of your blog. There are various individuals who can earn $30 per product review but if you happen to own a high traffic blog, you can easily make thousands of dollars as well.

2. Introduce Membership Options

In case you are aspiring to generate a steady flow of income through the means of your blog and you are clueless on how to do so, you can always opt for the membership option. Blogs that are converting in terms of traffic need to try and distribute memberships for a minimal charge. This would ensure that you earn a steady flow of income on a regular basis.

3. Sell Links On Your Blog

While there are numerous ways of making money through your blog, there is no better way than selling the links to your blogs to merchant sites. In the case that your website has a high Page Rank (PR) ranking, you can always sell your link for a sizable price. You can sell links on your blog to sites and make money on a monthly basis.
