Affiliate Marketing Tactics: Promoting Affiliate Product Through Preselling

November 20, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

When you are doing your affiliate marketing business, it is important for you to know the difference between preselling and selling. Your business will be deeply affected if you do not know the difference. So what are the differences and which one should I choose to start my business on a right note?

If you are going to just hard sell the affiliate product to your customer, you will not be able to get many buying customers. The main reason is because we human being do not like to be forced to take a action that we do not want to take. The customer will feel that you are only interested in the money instead of helping them to solve the problems. Selling affiliate product is not the true role for an affiliate.

The role that affiliate should do is to presell the product. You will educate the customer on the benefits that the product offer and you will not force then to purchase the product. When the customer feels that they are not being forced, they will be more likely to take the action that you want them to take. For instance, your main goal of sending emails to them is to just get them to click on your affiliate link.

Once they have click on your affiliate link, you will have already done you part as an affiliate. You will leave all the selling process to the merchant’s sales letter. If you presell successful, the customer will already show interest in what you will have to offer. It is thus very important for you to choose affiliate product with good sales letter so that it will help you to close the sales.

You will have to know that when you are doing your affiliate marketing business, you will always focus on getting the leads to click on your affiliate link. Once they have click on your affiliate link, they will be redirected to the merchant’s website.

When you customer has reach the landing page, he will read through the sales letter that is on the merchant’s webpage. If the sales letter is persuasive and it is the information that the customer is looking for, the customer will purchased the product. You will get your commissions once the customer has purchased the product. It is thus important to know that you will only earn the commission if the customer purchases the product.

Affiliate Marketing Tactics: Why Affiliate Product That Offers Higher Commission is not a Better Product?

November 20, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

There are many affiliate programs that are available on the internet. It can be quite a challenging task for the new affiliates to choose a good affiliate product to promote. As most affiliates start their business because they want to earn money fast, they will tend to focus on the amount of commissions that the merchant offer. The question is “Does affiliate product that offers higher commission a better product?”

It is always nice to choose a affiliate program that offers you higher commission as you will get more money if the customer purchase the product. But you will have to note that when the merchant is offering high commissions, it will also means that the merchant is charging very high for the product. Much lesser people will purchase the product as the price is high.

On the other side, if there is a affiliate program that offers similar product, offers lesser commission as the price is lower, you might actually do better. More people will be able to purchase the product as the price is low. You will be able to convert more people into customer which will ultimately increase your profits.

There is no rules that says that you should only promote product which offer lower commissions. You will have to decide on several factors that will affect your marketing campaign. For instance, if you already have a big and responsive list, you will be able to sell higher priced product as they have already trusted you and they will be more likely to purchase the product.

Thus, it do not mean that affiliate product that offers higher commission is a better product. Do know the situation that you are in and do some research on the product before you start your promotional campaign.

Online Business Promotion in Relation to Your Website-Blog Design

November 18, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

The challenge that is encountered with most online business people is internet marketing tactics. Yet for your internet business to be successful you must device business promotion strategies that have been proven to produce positive results. Important to note, is that online marketing usually requires patience, online promotion strategies and internet marketing knowledge.

When designing your blog, include HTML heading tags. Some search engines use HTML title and sub title heading tags to CRAWL sites. In addition, add META tags between your title, this are keyword phrases that best explain the content on your website/blog and search engines use them in their search results description. Research and learn on how best to use HTML and META tags from internet marketing gurus.

Make it easy for your target visitors to read through the content on your blog by using a white background and black text color. It is also not recommended to use animations on your blog/website since they are very irritating to your readers but if you decide use them, do it in moderation. Animations also make it difficult for your target audience to recommend others to your website/blog.

In order to avoid visitors exiting fast and hence resulting in a high bounce rate, ensure it is easy to navigate thorough your website. If you design a complicated blog or website, it will discourage your target visitors from staying longer and thus not take action in case you are selling stuff.

It therefore goes to prove that online marketing is not just about advertising, but the design of your blog/website is imperative especially if you want your target audience to recommend others.

The Right Answer

November 13, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

Effective annual marketing plans have always relied on a combination of real data and intelligent assumptions. Recent years have brought us a great deal of change at a very fast pace, which has created new challenges as well as new opportunities for preparing an effective 2010 marketing strategy.I believe it is very safe to say that when it comes to marketing tactics, there is no common “right answer”. When asked by clients if a particular tactic will produce the desired results, I can only honestly say that it all depends on the product, target, message and — more importantly in today’s changing landscape — how the consumer wants to be approached. If you aren’t familiar with the Four P’s of marketing [see footnote], it’s a tried and true concept that I believe is as relevant today as when it was first introduced a half a century ago. However, the fourth P, “Promotion”, requires some special attention these days. It isn’t all about print vs broadcast media, public relations, and your sales force anymore. Today we are faced with — and perhaps blessed with — the possibility of building personal relationships with the masses. Today’s buzz phrase is “Social Media” and it really can work if you are smart in your approach. Before jumping onto FaceBook or Twitter, it’s important to understand that social media can work with you or against you in two significant ways: 1. Social media allows you to hold a conversation with your audience 2. Social media allows your audience to hold a conversation with others about youIt is also important to understand that social media isn’t just about FaceBook and Twitter. It’s also about blogs, media sharing, widgets, mobile apps, podcasting, rss, email, and good ol’ word-of-mouth. According to the MarketingSavant, a social media campaign by Ben & Jerry’s yielded a 42% increase in time spent engaged with their website, strengthened existing relationships, and introduced younger audiences. This is an excellent example of how you can utilize social media through your own website without relying on trends like FaceBook. But, don’t let assumptions about social media overpower your focus on traditional media. Broadcast, outdoor, and print media are still the right choices in many cases. With the array of marketing channels available to us today through social and traditional media comes much uncertainty. For this reason, it may be wise to include experiments in your marketing strategy to isolate the effects of each option. If you have real data on your target demographics and psychographics — and you really should — you can start with assumptions about how they may want to be approached. Perform short market tests through seemingly appropriate channels and cut the loser at each stage. It will take time to isolate the winners, but solid experiments will ultimately reveal them.As you begin working on next year’s marketing plan, take a fresh look at the marketing mix. Determine which uncertainties require the most attention, and why. Work through the potential impact of reducing these uncertainties and you will be on your way to finding the right answer for attracting new customers and retaining existing ones.Until next time,Howard TheriotCatch Light ProductionsFour P’s Of Marketinghttp://www.netmba.com/marketing/mix/

Where to look for help with college papers and dissertations

November 7, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

Most of us fall for cheap marketing tactics used by big essay writing companies who can afford to spend a fortune on marketing and advertising only to scam innocent customers.

Just about a couple months back I was in dire need to do my MBA dissertation, but I had no one to look up to and I had no motivation to start up the writing process. Every single day I thought of starting it up, but I just could not muster up the courage to start writing as it was a daunting task, but I managed to pull it off.

I could have given my dissertation to any writing company, but having had a terrible experience with masterpapers and essaycapital, I just did not have the faith.

I was recommended to www.academicwriter1.wordpress.com and these guys claimed to be a group of writers and claimed to have worked with the best companies. I did not have the conviction to trust anyone because that would mean paying a huge amount of money and waiting for my dissertation till the last day of submission. I was dubious, but I was convinced by my friend that these guys will do justice to my paper. I thought of trying them up on conditions of paying for the dissertation only after its completion and also that they will update me with the dissertation as it comes along.

Now, this is where I have got my motivation to write for them. At the same time, I do not want people to bark up the wrong tree when they can channelize their time and energy just into the right direction. I would strongly advice everyone, who might need an essay, a dissertation or whatever else, to try out these guys and EXPERIENCE the difference.

Cheers!

Chiropractic Coaching Fraud Alert

November 7, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

When I’ve spoken at chiropractor seminars or homecomings, especially within the last two years, I’ve encountered loads of veteran doctors and recent graduates that have been victims of chiropractic coaching scams and bad practice management consulting. Usually, if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. I find that many DC’s join these companies simply out of fear of failure. What I don’t like, is the manipulation that sometimes occurs with desperate chiropractors and the “sharks” that take advantage of them.

If you join a consulting group, make sure they have plenty of value to provide to you rather than just empty promises. Personally, I feel than many are overpriced and are just out to make a buck and could care less about the average chiropractor. I say this because some chiropractic practice consulting groups are using marketing tactics and strategies that died in the 1970’s. The world changes periodically, not to mention the people in it, so it’s important to find a company that’s adaptable to the new ways of marketing and doing business in today’s high-tech age.

Do an intense evaluation from inside out with your chiropractic practice, finding those areas that you need help with. Even in this sagging economy, many DC’s are doing very well. I typically find that the marketing and new patient acquisition aspects of most practices is what chiropractors want to substantially ramp-up. If you need new patients, you should first seek out forms of marketing and advertising that are free. Believe it or not, the best advertising is free in todays time. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. For example, did you know you can use YouTube and create videos to bring patients into the office and dominate the competition and search engines? Did you know you could use Myspace or Facebook to connect with local people in your area and brand yourself and your office?

In times of economic uncertainty, more innovative and strategic methods like the ones mentioned above are needed to make your office recession-proof. However, there isn’t a single chiropractic consultant that teaches these tactics, though. Reason being, most have not been adaptable and are still stuck in the past. A word of advice, if you encounter a chiropractic coaching firm that claims to know it all and does not have to learn more, stay away!

Here are a few tips to consider when choosing a practice management company. Make sure they have real-life testimonials from previous clients. Secondly, see if they specialize in what you are looking for. You don’t want a “jack of all trades, master of none” chiropractic coaching group. If you want to market your practice via the internet, don’t choose someone that focuses on screenings are dinner-talks. Lastly, make sure they are adaptable and staying abreast of new trends in the internet and the world. Not only that, be clear that they have an exact, proven strategy to implement them within your practice.

To get you started on some free chiropractic marketing and advertising for your office, here are a few sites that you want to be on and continuously contribute content to:

YouTube.com
Myspace.com
Wordpress.com
Facebook.com
Digg.com
EzineArticles.com
Free-Press-Release.com
Twitter.com

Now, I could’ve mentioned about a hundred more, but begin with these ones first. These Web 2.0 sites are free to use and can bring you truckloads of new patients and other sources of income if you learn the basic and advanced strategies of how to harness them. I’ve noticed that about 95% of the chiropractic profession is still in the dark about how to use social media to blow the doors of their offices.

Just so it is understood, not all chiropractic coaching groups are frauds. There are a select few good ones that have proven themselves and have gained trust and credibility within the profession. Ask around to other colleagues to get honest opinions before you pick a firm. This is a big decision and has the potential to give your practice an incredible jump-start.
