3 Ways You Can Generate Cash Using Google Adsense

November 20, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

In many webmaster forums, you are likely to come across this question: “How can I make money with Google Adsense?” Google Adsense is arguably the most popular pay-per-click advertising program today. Many webmasters are earning considerable money by displaying Google Adsense on their sites.
Yes, it is very possible to make money with Google Adsense. There are several effective and proven ways you can do this. The best part is that they are not complicated ways; they are in fact very simple and easy to implement. Of course, exactly how much you make from Google Adsense largely depends on how much effort you put into your sites. Don’t fall into believing that you can make money from Google Adsense overnight. Like other types of work, you need to spend time as well as have the commitment and perseverance.
With all that said, you will learn three effective ways you can generate cash with Google Adsense — through niche sites, forums and blogs.
Niche Sites: Targeted Market Equals Targeted and Higher Adsense Clicks
The word “niche” is today’s buzz word. A niche is a specific market you want to focus on. If you are in the antique business, exactly what kind of antique do you deal with? Are you in the antique furniture business? antique dolls? antique cars? That’s your niche.
Niche websites are sites that are focused on very specific markets or audience. Instead of a broad category, you narrow down into a target market or audience. For instance, a guitar website can be further made specific and focus on Fender Stratocaster guitars. People who are into Fender Stratocaster guitars are your target audience. Google Adsense ads that appear on this particular niche website appeal to your target audience and visitors. By being specific, you can generate higher clicks to your Google Adsense, which translate to higher Google Adsense earnings.
If you want to maximize your Google Adsense earnings, put up several niche websites instead of one website devoted to a broad category or topic. Instead of putting up a website about cars, put up several small websites focused on car repairs, care restoration, antique cars and such. By narrowing down your website’s focus, you can attract targeted visitors who are likely to click on your Google Adsense ads.
Forums: Placing Google Adsense Ads that Stand Out
Do you run a highly active forum or online discussion board? If your forum receives a lot of traffic and has many members who regularly participate in online discussions, you can monetize your forum pages by inserting Google Adsense in them. While forum users are known to be “ad blind”, you can insert Google Adsense codes smartly.
For instance, you can make your Google Adsense ads stand out by using very bright colors. On niche sites, it is recommended that your Google Adsense ads blend in with the site. In online forums, however, you can make money with Google Adsense by making the ads stand out. You can also make Google Adsense appear after a certain number of posts. Many forum owners have discovered that Google Adsense ads placed at the bottom of the last post on every page generates a lot of clicks.
Blogs: Easy to Monetize with Google Adsense
Today, many are able to establish an online presence and have their voices heard. They do this by creating and maintaining their own blogs. In the last two years alone, literally hundreds of thousands of blogs have cropped up. Blog software like Wordpress and blog networks like Blogger make it easy for anyone, even the least techie, to set up his or her own blog and make money from it. There are bloggers who are reportedly making four-, five- and six-figure yearly income just by placing Google Adsense on their blogs.
Since Blogger is owned by Google, people with blogs on Blogger can easily integrate Google Adsense into their account. Even if you don’t have an account with Blogger, you can still make money displaying Google Adsense ads on Wordpress-powered blogs hosted on your server or third-party host. Blog software like Wordpress have Google Adsense plugins. This means you can easily insert Google Adsense ad codes in your blog posts with just a click of a button.
To make the most out of your Google Adsense ads, it is recommended that you place a Google Adsense unit after each of your blog posts. If you are posting a long article, consider placing a Google Adsense unite in the middle of the article. And if you technically inclined (or you aren’t afraid of a challenge), you can insert Google Adsense codes into your blog template. Do it this way and your Google Adsense ads will display on all your blog pages.
There you have it — three ways you can generate cash from Google Adsense. Niche sites, forums and blogs are only three of the many ways you can make money from Google Adsense. If you are new online, start with a blog. Create an account on Blogger.com and test out the waters. As you become comfortable and acquire more technical skills, you can advance to creating niche sites and starting your own online forums and monetizing with Google Adsense.

Influencing Powerful Social Media Users to Generate Massive Traffic to Your Website

November 19, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

Generating a buzz to get massive amounts of traffic to your website is best done using social media websites?

The easiest way to accomplish this is to leverage the clout of influencers within the social media community.

Influencers are people within a social network that are respected and liked by others in that community and are able to popularize discussions on topics of interst in that community.

Influencers stimulate the conversations, connect people to ideas and can capture the mindshare or opinion of an audience within a social sphere. All social media websites have a few select individuals who stand out for their activity within the community and their expertise has gained the trust and support of the social media users.

These are the people you are are looking for and the ones you want to influence.

There are so many social media sites and the points we make in this article can be applied to any of them. We’ll be studying how to develope your own strategy for targeting the influencers of these sites to engage  their social network with your content.

Let’s look at a social news site like Digg for example. Digg and other sites like it allow the audience to vote on the value of content with a simple thumbs up and thumbs down vote. By actively participating in the community you can develope a following and become and authority and with that comes influence.

Over time supporters will share your content with friends or add it to their websites and blogs. Social media users can be pitched just like a blogger or writer can be pitched with a simple introduction at first gradually building a relationship that’s mutually benefitial. The goal is to leverage their brand of influence by influencing them to promote your website content within their community.

The main steps are Targeting, Networking and then Pitching the influencer in question.

1.TargetingFinding a social media influencer that shares your point of view about your content and is relevent to their website or sphere of influence is most important. Making your content in-line or coherent with the influencers interests makes it much easier to get them to promote or agree with your content.

Go to the public user ranking list of the social media site in question, in this case Digg, and visit each profile on the listed looking for who has influence and also who resonates with what you’re promoting. Get a feel for what interests them. You can also do a keyword search on the social media site looking for content based on your keywords and find the users that rank high within the site on those keywords. If they have consistently submitted content around those keywords they are likely to be open to suggestions of simular content. You can also do a URL search of your keywords to find people that may be open to more content of that type.

Using the site yourself will help you discover little details about the user you’re targeting that can help you reach them and develope rapport. For example, while top Digg user MrBabyMan submits a great amount of stories, most active Diggers are familiar with his avid interest in Cracked.com, a popular pop culture/men’s portal/magazine.

2. NetworkingAfter you’re done targeting a specific social media website you need to contact them and develpoe a relationship. You can get in touch with them from their contact info in their user profile and join the site as a registered user. If contact info is not available Google them by their name and user name to see if you can find it elsewhere. Look for their blog or other profiles they may have listed on other sites.

Once you have their contact details initiate a conversation by just send them a note and thank them for their contributions. Trying to pitch to promote your content right away is very bad etiquette and annoying. You can stand out from the crowd of self-interested crowd by genuinely showing your appreciation for their contributions.

Take a genuine interest in them and engage them in a dialog of common interests and do so continuously until you have a good idea what material they would support and do favors for the user by giving them publicity or links to free resources and interesting content (not your own).

Real social media users are always interested in buzz-worthy news or opinions that can boost their own authority within the social media community. Your content or anything else you offer should not only meet the integrity of their personal brand, but it should improve it and the reputation of the user within the community.

Offer them free invites to unrelated websites, give away exclusive information on certain topics. Share some links to excellent websites. Do little favors without asking for anything in return at all. Give them a reason to be interested in you.

Networking is really just about making friends. It’s that simple. This will gradually lead you into the third and final stage: Pitching the influencer.

3.PitchingSo now that you’ve built a rapport with this person what next?

A. Ask Casually. Do your pitching in a light hearted and casual manner and do not aggressively push the user to promote your content. This is a huge turnoff and you should understand that the user has a perfect right to refuse you.

B. Disclose Your affiliation. I would recommend letting the user know that you are affiliated with the specific website, particularly if you plan to have a long working relationship with the user. He or she will appreciate your honesty and it will also make it easier for you to ask the second time round.

C. Space out your pitches. The biggest mistake you can make is to ask the influencer to promote every single piece of content that comes out on your site. This is a major irritant so only offer the user your best work, while pitching your material only once per week or every two weeks.

Continue to keep aclose contact after they are promoting your site. Building a long-term relationship will have longterm results and targeted in-bound links to your website for years to come.

Good Luck!

How to Generate Revenue With Blogs

November 16, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

Making money from a blog requires skill, luck and work. In this article we describe how it can be done.
Let’s first look at the sources of revenue which are available for blog authors.

Ads
By placing ads on a blog it is possible to generate revenue from visitors who click on the ads. The most common source for ads is Google’s AdSense. By signing up to Google AdSense and placing a small piece of code on your blog, Google will display their ads on your blog. Advertisers who signed up for Googles AdWords program pay Google for each click on ads and Google shares this revenue with blog owners displaying the ads. Google does not disclose how the revenue is shared they encourage you to sign up and try it out so you can see how much you generate and then decide if it is for you or not. Google places ads on webpages so they match the content on the page. A blog about traveling would therefore attract ads for airplane tickets, hotels etc. Since Google shares their revenue with you and since you want to generate a lot of revenue, you need to produce content for which ads pay well. There are tools available for determining for which keywords there is the most competition among advertisers content for such keywords will be content that generates the highest revenue. The revenue generated per click can be anywhere from a few cents to several dollars, depending on the advertiser competition. Normally, relatively few visitors to a website or blog will click on ads. There are ways to optimize a blog or website for achieving higher click through rates. You will be able to find varied (and sometimes contradictory) advice on what is the best strategy. Follow the links below, to sign up for Google’s AdSense and for tools for finding the keywords for which there is a lot of advertiser competition.

Affiliate programs
Affiliate programs are a type of partnership, where are seller of a product shares the revenue generated from a sale with the affiliate who sent the customer to the seller’s website. The percentage of revenue given to the affiliate can be from a few percent to as much as 75 percent. Affiliate programs are often supported by the company handling the online payment, who then takes care of paying the commission to the affiliate the minute the customer makes payment. An owner of a blog can become an affiliate of one or more sellers and send visitors to the sellers’ websites, thereby generating revenue for the owner of the blog. Affiliate links (i.e., links from the affiliate to the sellers’ websites) are easier to disguise as normal links, than ads provided by Google. The affiliate can create the links, so the customer may not even notice that the affiliate is affiliated with the sellers’ websites. For this reason, a higher click through rate can be achieved this way than through ads. You can expect that only a few percent of visitors following your links end up making a purchase. So also for this option, a large amount of traffic is needed to generate good revenue. Follow the links below to learn more about affiliate programs and how to find products to promote.

Getting traffic
No matter which option for revenue you choose, the key to generating serious money is to get serious amounts of visitors for the blog. This means that your blog needs to be interesting for the reader and not just look like something made for you to make money. For this reason, you need to keep the amount of ads and affiliate links to a minimum. You need to produce content which appeals to readers and to add new posts regularly to keep visitors coming back. Topics like politics, religion, gaming, gossip, arts, sports – to name just a few seem to be popular topics. You need to select a topic which you yourself find interesting as this will make it easier for you to write articles that others will find engaging too. Blogs with a good amount of graphics seem to attract more visitors than blogs with a small amount of graphics. Besides having a blog which is interesting and make visitors return, you can get visitors using advertising, link building and other techniques used also for “normal” websites.

Can A Self-referencing Article Be Used To Generate Web Site Traffic?

November 13, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

There are all kinds of methods used to generate web traffic. One very good traffic generator is article marketing.
The way it works is that you first determine what you want search engines to find, look for the good keywords about the subject, and then write an article that revolves around a your keyword or keyword phrase, post it strategically on the web, and allow the search engines to it. Usually authors include a resource box at the end of the article that contains a link back to the website that you are marketing.
Places that you can post your article include your own blog, and articles directory that is on your website, commercial article directories such as http://goarticle.com, or http://ezinearticles.com. You can also post articles on some web 2.0 pages (like Squidoo), etc.
Additionally, you can offer to let your readers publish the articles in their newsletters or on their websites. It may seem that the publication in the newsletter would not really help you. However, you must realize, that many publishers post archives of their newsletters on their websites.
The reason that they will republish your articles, is because they need or want to provide content to bring their websites to life. So the better your articles, the more likely it is that at least some marketers will take your article and publish it giving you credit, of course, and if you set your article up right, you’ll also get a link back to your website.
The idea is that you can generate web site traffic that appears in the organic areas of search engines. The organic areas of search engines comprise the most direct matches to your query. They are what the person asking the question looks at first. The person making the query may also look at the pay per click ads along the right side of many search engines, for these may also be relevant to the query.
Thus, it can be seen that both the organic and pay per click matches can be used to generate traffic to your website. The main difference is that with organic matches you don’t pay even a penny, whereas with pay per click items, you pay every time somebody clicks your ad.
You can, of course, use software to help you create your articles or to help you generate traffic in other ways. For example, the way I am creating this very article is by dictating it using Dragon NaturallySpeaking, which is so good, that I barely need to touch the keyboard at all.
While I’m a pretty fast typist, I can go nearly three times faster simply by dictating what I want to communicate. The software converts it into text right before my eyes. Even with the corrections, I go faster by dictation than I do with the keyboard.
I also use keyword research software to figure out what keywords and keyword phrases I should be using to generate web site traffic. It’s not always simple, but sometimes it’s unbelievably simple. And for me, dictating the words while looking at the keywords gives me a lot of confidence as I create my articles.
I’ve touched on a number of different ideas in this article. I also included a number of different keyword phrases in the same article. So the question that I have, because this is something of an experiment, is whether or not the search engines, as well as my visitors, will find articles like this useful.
After all, it is the utility of an article that makes it worthwhile, at least to this writer.

This is very popular as it is a fast way to generate traffic and also an effective way. If you have a good budget and you know where to target your market, you can use a little of money and in turn you can get huge profit through your MLM campaign. It is also a good way to get cash flow to sustain your MLM business.

Google Adwords is the best Pay Per Click advertising. It is best if you utilize Google Adwords as Google is the largest search engine in the world and it only takes 15 to 30 minutes for your ad to appear on Google.

There are more reasons why you must use Pay Per Click:

1. People trust Google. Google is now a trusted ‘brand’. People will google everything they want to know. You hardly find anyone who would want to use Yahoo! to search for information as they know Google is the best search engine that will lead them to the relevant results according to their keyword. So, these people are your target. People who are not interested in MLM will not be searching for it so those who are searching for it are looking for an answer to their question or questions in mind.

2. Within 10 minutes after using Adwords, you will be able to get many traffic to your site. You ads will appear to millions of eyes once it is approved by Google Team.

3. There is no limit on how much traffic you want to generate. It is all up to your budget and how much you are willing to spend in PPC.

4. PPC runs automatically so once you have gain more profits from your campaign you only need to check on the ad once in a while and let it run the whole year or even longer. It is the best advertising campaign on the internet.

Do not simply get all the keywords you think can generate profits for you. Research on the highly targeted keyword instead of targeting all the keywords. You cannot target all as it is always on the losing side. It is wasting time and money. When you have a targeted keyword, you have a higher chance to generate more traffic and profits.

If you want to run a successful ad campaign, you will need to study the keywords that can bring you fortune. You also need to learn about your competition to make sure you know where you are standing. Look out for a good web copywriting, remember to split test the ads and use content ads in your campaign.

Dominate The Search Engines With Social Bookmarking – Generate Targeted Search Engine Traffic

November 11, 2009 by IBI · 1 Comment

Let me ask you a question fellas…

- What is the best of way of generating highly targeted traffic to your website or blog?

- Pay Per Click? Yes! However, it can get rather expensive if you do not know how to do it right (and for some-even if they do)…

Therefore, another question emerges immediately:

- What is the second best way to drive highly targeted traffic to your website or blog?

The answer to this question is similar to the first one, the difference is-this one is FREE.

You see, there is a way for you to generate highly targeted organic traffic on autopilot 24/7/365 for FREE. How is it possible? Simple!

Social Bookmarking!

Search engines love social bookmarking websites. Google, Yahoo, MSN and others are constantly crawling sites like: Digg, StumbleUpon, Delicious, Furl, Mixx, Propeller etc. They are constantly scanning and reviewing the content which is being submitted to the social bookmarking websites by their users. They base the search result rankings by the Title, Description and Keywords or Tags of the submitted content.

Until the social bookmarking trend became popular, people used to save their bookmarks and favorite pages on their computers. Social bookmarking offered a better way of bookmarking. Instead, the user saves them in an online account. Bookmark links in this online account exist in public pages on the website, so a link to your website on a social bookmarking site counts as a backlink to your website. Such backlinks possess high value with the search engines, therefore a link linking back to your website or blog automatically boosts it’s page rank and by so boosts it in the search results.

Social Bookmarking is all about keywords. You will need to choose your Title, Description and Keywords (Tags) very carefully in order to get listed high on the search engines. Search engines are constantly crawling the social bookmarking websites and keep updating the rankings every single second. Choosing the right tag, title and description is vital and it is what makes or breaks your search engine ranking results.

Although it might sound hard-believe me it’s NOT! Watch this video below where I prove to you that social bookmarking submission works BIG TIME!

Generating highly targeted traffic is as simple as clicking on the submit button on Digg.

6 Free Ways To Generate A Steady Stream Of Traffic To Your Blog

November 11, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

Blogs have become a world-wide phenomenon that has, literally, been turned into an art form. With programs like Blogger and Wordpress, setting up your own blog is super easy, but getting traffic to it can be a little more difficult. However, there are a few things that you can do to get visitors to your blog.
Articles:
Since a blog revolves around content, it’s always a good idea to balance your more personal posts with informative articles. For example, if you have a personal blog focused on your weight lost journey, compose an article about the health benefits of living a healthier lifestyle, then post it on your blog and allow others to reprint it (with your resource box and link of course) to gain incoming links. Another bonus of articles is that they can work to bring you organic traffic and win you higher ratings in the search engines.
Fresh Content:
One of the most important things you can do to keep a steady flow of traffic going to your blog, is to update it on a regular basis. Ideally, it’s best if you update your blog at least 2 or 3 times a week, and even better if you can do it daily. There are a couple of advantages to this; one is that you will gain a following of readers who will continually return to your blog, and two is that you will be feeding the search engines, thus, maintaining your ranking.
Building Relationships:
Relationship building is a promotional method all its own, the simple reason being, is that by establishing yourself as an expert in the eyes of your readers, you will win their trust. The trust of your readers is a powerful tool, one that should not be taken advantage of. Your visitors go to you in search of answers to their questions, and they value your opinion and recommendations, which means that they are more likely to click your affiliate links and buy from you rather than the competition.
Blog Pinging:
This method can be used whenever you update your blog, and should become a part of your blogging routine. There are multiple ping directories. All you have to do is visit their website, type in the name of your blog and the URL, then hit ping. The purpose of pinging is that every time you do this, the directory will ping all of the blog directories in its listing to let them know that your blog has been updated.
Feed Burner:
By installing a simple, and free, piece of HTML code onto your blog, your readers can subscribe and have new blog posts emailed to them. This is a great notification system, and will let your readers know that they can go to your blog to read new entries.
Blog Roll:
This is a very easy option to use, and is already built into Wordpress. You simply add the URL’s you want, publish them to your site, and they will then show up under the heading “Blog Roll” on the side of your blog. The way to make this work for traffic is to treat it like a link exchange. Simply contact other blog owners and let them know that you have added their blog to your blog roll, and ask for a link in return.
Blog promotion can be done in the same way that you would advertise your website, and the free options are just as good, if not better, than paid. However, if you want to see results you will need to promote your blog on a regular basis, and understand that it will take time and effort to establish it.
