In affiliate marketing, there are many ways in which you can increase your earnings and maintain the account that you have worked so hard for already. Most of the techniques and tactics can be learned easily. No need to go anywhere and any further. They are available online, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. One of the more important ways of increasing affiliate marketing bottom line and sale is through the use of product recommendations. Many marketers know that this is one of the most effective ways in promoting a certain product. If the customers or visitors trust you enough, then they will definitely trust your recommendations. Be very careful in using this approach, though. If you start promoting everything by recommendation, your credibility will actually wear thin. This is seen especially when recommendations are seemingly exaggerated and without much merit. Do not be afraid to mention things that you do not like about a given product or service. Rather than lose any points for you, this will make your recommendation more realistic and will tend to increase your credibility. Furthermore, if your visitors are really interested in what you are offering, they will be more than delighted to learn what is good about the product, what is not so good, and how the product will benefit them. When you are recommending a certain product, there are some things to remember on how to make it work effectively and for your advantage.Sound like the true and leading expert in your field. Remember this simple equation: Price resistance diminishes in direct proportion to trust. If your visitors feel and believe that you are an expert in your niche, they are more inclined to making that purchase. On the other hand, if you are not exuding any confidence and self-assurance in endorsing your products, they will probably feel that same way and will go in search of another product or service which is more believable. How do you establish this aura of expertise? By offering unique and new solutions they would not get anywhere else. Show proof that what you are promoting works as promised. Display prominent testimonials and endorsements from respected and known personalities, in related fields of course. Avoid hype at all costs. It is better to sound low key and confident, than to scream and seek attention. Besides, you would not want to sound unprofessional and have that thinking stick to your potential customers and clients, now would you? Best to appear cool and self-assured at the same time. And remember; prospects are not stupid. They are actually turning to experts and may already know the things that you know. If you back up your claims with hard facts and data, they would gladly put down hundreds, or even thousands worth of money to your promotions. But if you don’t, they are smart enough to try and look at your competitors and what they are offering. While recommending a product, it is also important that you give out promotional freebies. People are already familiar with the concept of offering freebies to promoting your won products. But very few people do this to promote affiliate products. Try to offer freebies that can promote or even have some information about your products or services. Before you add recommendations to you product, it is given that you should try and test the product and support. Do not run the risk of promoting junk products and services. Just think how long it took you to build credibility and trust among your visitors. All that will take to destroy it is one big mistake on your part.If possible, have recommendations of products that you have 100% confidence in. Test the product support before you begin to ensure that the people you are referring it to would not be left high and dry when a problem suddenly arouse. Have a look at your affiliate market and look at the strategies you are using. You may not be focusing on the recommendations that your products need to have. You plan of action is sometimes not the only thing that is making your program works.Try product recommendation and be among those few who have proven its worth.

Building Trust and Friendships with Social Media
I’ve been in quite a few meetings lately where I listen to people complain about their declining sales numbers and they all seem to be focused intensely on the next tactic to use to increase their sales. Whether it is the new brochure, or the new addition to their website. The problem is …
Simply adding a tactic will never be a long term solution!
I want to make sure I don’t come across the wrong way. I am not saying I have all the solutions or that people who are experiencing declining sales are doing so because they don’t know what they are doing. I know we are in the midst of the worst economic conditions of all time and we are unfortunately all a victim of these circumstances. I personally look at difficult financial times as an excellent opportunity for the cream to rise to the top.
The best companies, and not necessarily the biggest, will thrive in a challenging market.
It certainly doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realize that when companies and individuals are watching every dollar they spend, they’ll only choose to spend money with a company they trust can deliver on the promises they are making. The days of a company hiding behind it’s size and people believing they are too big to go under are over. Companies are no longer given instant credibility due to their size. Heck, it appears as though the large companies are the ones that are run horribly and inefficiently and are teetering on the verge of ending.
Smaller companies who specialize in small niche areas and focus on delivering results are the companies that will not only survive, but will thrive in ANY economic condition.
You may be saying, “That all sounds great, but my company IS delivering results, and our sales numbers are steadily declining. Why isn’t this specialization working for me?”
My response to that is, “Are you telling as many people as you can, and providing proof?”
The Internet is causing consumers to be more critical since they are exposed to so much information online. They can get the entire scoop on a company and its products within a few minutes of “Googling” online. When the Internet initially emerged I believe companies struggled with how to do business online, while still maintaining that “personal touch.” Well that’s all changed now with the introduction of web 2.0 technologies. Everywhere you look you see blogs, videos, online seminars and Social media like Facebook, Twitter, and myspace.
If a consumer is thinking about doing business with your company chances are they’ll begin their intelligence gathering mission online. Can they find anything about your company? If not, you have probably disqualified yourself from the running. If they are finding information about you, is that information painting the picture of your organization that you’d like? If not, you need to TAKE CONTROL NOW!
You need to earn a company’s trust and prove to them you are worthy of that trust. It isn’t about selling anymore; it is about proving you are worth doing business with.
What are you doing to prove your worth? Do you have a Facebook Fan Page for your company where you share successes you’ve helped your clients achieve? Do you “Twitter” and share new articles you’ve published that showcase your depth of knowledge and prove you are worthy of your prospective client’s trust?
Social media is no longer simply a tool your kids use to monopolize your family computer.
Companies are using social media sites and social media tools like blogs and video sharing to build “social proof” that shows they can deliver on the promises they are making in the marketplace. These companies are utilizing these mechanisms to provide “value added service” through education to these prospective clients. These strategies help develop friendships with these prospects before a transaction has been made.
Think about it. If you were making the decision between the following two finalists …
The first company is only five years old, very small and specialized, but is highly visible on Facebook and Twitter. Plus you’ve read blog entries and seen videos online with companies JUST LIKE YOU who were looking to achieve the EXACT SAME RESULTS you are looking to achieve. The CEO’s of these companies were in the videos giving their endorsement and applauding the level of work.
The second company is the largest company in the industry, has the most tenure, and has complete top of mind awareness when you think of the problem you are looking to solve. The difference is when you went online to search, their website told you all about their history, their products, and what an excellent management team they had. Sure, they had a few testimonials sprinkled throughout their site, but they only used first names and a letter representing their last name. They also didn’t have any pictures representing this person, nor the industry or company they were affiliated with.
Which company would you choose? You may be one of the “old schoolers” who still believe the largest company that’s been around for decades is still the top contender for your business. I am thinking your stance on this issue is rapidly changing as you watch HUGE COMPANY after HUGE COMPANY close their doors. Today being big isn’t always better.
Companies that use the Internet as a tool to better understand their buyers and to deliver more value than they are paying for, will WIN. Companies that use social media to build trust and develop deep relationships with their customers will be the giants of tomorrow.
Pete Brand is a businessman.
He created a successful distribution business throughout the United States, which grew to a network of 2,500 sales people, under his supervision. He also acquired substantial sales and marketing experience with a local telecom company, and helped them to become the number one distributor of the product they marketed.
He was introduced to the Internet in 1998 and was fascinated at the possibilities. Although he didn’t know how to design or program a website, he saw the incredible opportunities the Internet presented in reaching people around the world quickly and efficiently. This motivated Pete to start a website development company which has since helped hundreds of companies around the world create well over $100,000,000 in online revenue.
Pete has a passion for Internet marketing and teaching individuals and companies the exact ingredients required for starting and running a successful online business. His expertise covers both “business to business” and “business to consumer” areas of online marketing.

Taking advantage of the many different ways to promote an Internet business is not something you just sit down and dream up. It actually involves skills and taking the time to learn the many different advancements being made almost daily.
Social media is one of these new technologies that the average person is not going to know about until they do some research. It also requires that you create a strategy for how to use these new forms of marketing to benefit your business the most. You may actually need to have a business meeting with yourself and create a social media strategy.
There are a couple of things you must address when you determine how to properly use social media.
1. First of all what is the goal that you’re trying to achieve with them? Are you trying to educate your readers and at same time brand yourself as an expert with credibility?
2. Are you trying to make sales for products you represent?
3. Maybe you are just trying to build a list for future follow up!
Social media tools are really only as good as the way you use them. For example blogging is a fantastic way to put your thoughts online very quickly. It is something that doesn’t require a special skill and anybody can do it
Adding video to your website or blog is a little harder. This will require that you not only learn how to record a video, but that you also learn how to get it online where people can view it.
Video is very appealing and is interactive with your reader. However, so is blogging when you allow your visitors to post comments, add content, take surveys, and so on. You may even want to do both of these but again, your strategy will determine whether you’re going to learn new skills or not.
One thing that is fantastic about social media is how it allows you to create a community within your business. You could set up your own discussion forum if you wanted.
You could join existing social networks such as Facebook or eEntrepreneur. These are excellent places to meet potential business partners and build your business using social media this way.
You may not even know exactly the social media strategy that you are looking for right now. Try different things and see what appeals to you. The key is determining exactly what you want to get from the social media that you are involved in and then be consistent in how you do it.

Blogs have replaced websites as the best way to have visibility on the internet. I think of my blog as my home online. People find me by using my keywords when they are searching for information on my topic, or else they find my blog because I have commented on another blog, written something in a forum or in a social networking site, or given out my business card when I was speaking to a group.
The most important thing is that they now have a place on the internet to find out more about who I am and what I can do for them. I set up my blog in an organized way from the very beginning so that it would be easy for readers to quickly get what they need.
Having an opt-in box at the top of the blog is important in order to build your list. I ask for the person’s first name and email address, and offer a free teleseminar in exchange for this information. This gives them the opportunity to hear me on a call and ask any questions they may have, and allows me to begin sending them regular email messages with tips, ideas, free reports, and information about upcoming courses I will be offering. This makes it a win-win situation for both of us. If they decide they are no longer interested, they can simply click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.
Categories are another feature on your blog that will help readers to find the information they are looking for. When I started my blog I created about 10 categories. These are the topics that I discuss in my blog posts. This number has now expanded to 32 categories, but it makes it very simple for someone to click on a particular category and see all of the posts I have made on that specific topic. You will want to think about your categories from the very beginning of creating your blog so that you can also benefit from the search engine optimization that goes along with having your keyword phrases listed on the first page of your blog.
It is also important to have a way for people to share your post with others through social media sites such as StumbleUpon, Digg, and others. You can set this up on your blog so that your readers can help you to be known on an even wider basis throughout the blogosphere.
Blogging is the very best way to get your message out to the world. You share your knowledge and expertise with your readers and promote your products and upcoming events in a conversational way. I encourage you to begin blogging in a serious way to build your online business.

Objective reports on affiliate products are constructive and build credibility to the industry. That is what people are looking for when they do a search. They are not wanting to subject themselves to a marketing site who’s motive is a sale.My suggestion then is to keep in mind that your visitors are looking for quality reviews not sales copy. You are trying to give them a reason to click though to the sales page you are not trying to make the sale. Here are five tips on how to make an informative product review.1. Buy the product for your personal use.2. Read or use the product to become familiar with it.3. Take note of those things about it that impressed you. Make an outline.4. Write a review from your research and use.5. Use an image of the product in your review.1) Using less than these five steps will take away any hope of honest reviews. Don’t even think about writing a review if you haven’t purchased the product. You will tarnish the integrity of this industry. For more details go to: www.greatpromotionsite.com.If you are not comfortable using the product yourself or it gave you no real value then put that on your site also, after you get a refund. People like to see a negative review if you in reality used it. They will trust you more when it comes time to buy. Keep in mind the mentality of the person that lands on your site for a review. The last thing they want to read is sales copy. They are looking for honest reviews of products that you have used. If you provide that they will give you respect and click though to the sales page.2) As mentioned before it is also good practice to provide reviews of products that you had a bad experience with. For can visit to: www.master-affiliates-marketer.com.This builds credibility and brings a balance to your reader. The end result will be trust. In your product reviews it is important that you inject your personality. Things like how you felt when you opened product and how much or little value it added to your life. People like hearing these things and builds trust. In closing it is true that affiliate marketing reviews are a marketing ruse but can be useful to both buyer and seller when done right. The buyer is looking for an honest review from a product user. The seller should at minimum provide a comprehensive review from personal experience.Affiliate marketing reviews are a great way to brand yourself on the net. Put your site up with that in mind. By putting photos, videos and information about yourself on the site you build trust. The cold generic product review page accomplishes none. People buy from those they trust.
Anyone can make a blog. But in order to be competitive in this industry, here are a few things people should know. Before putting up the website, the person must answer this simple question. Who is the target market? By working on that, individual will be able to focus on something that people will really look at.When that has been done, its time to come up with catchy name. If the creator wants to focus on automobiles then one should think of something related to it. Should this be associated with something else and bears no resemblance to the site, not only will it confuse the audience but also destroy any credibility the person will have. For more details visit to www.blog-link-generator.com .Using a template available from various websites can make this happen. Those who something original should enlist the help of a computer programmer. Regardless where it came from, this should be checked over and over again to make sure no glitches or screw-ups happen when customers are visiting the site.Once the blog site is operational, a good host or application should be found to back this up. This will help introduce the product or service one is offering into the market. The entrepreneur can do this without tying up with anyone but this could take a longer time to get established in the business. The person can submit ads to software developers to feature the blog. There is usually a small fee for maintenance costs so those who don’t have that much money can still achieve this by becoming an affiliate or through the use of text links. Listing your blog in blog directories is probably not the best way to generate traffic, but it can be useful in certain ways. It’s a great way to connect with other like-minded bloggers and possibly generate some link exchanges, etc.The entrepreneur should have an efficient delivery system to make sure this gets to the customer. It is also advisable to have a customer service hotline ready in the event that the buyer has encountered problems or is not happy with the product. For more information logon to www.instant-blog-and-ping.com .The most important thing in a website aside from the existing products or images is regular updates. Unless the person diversifies or offers new things, other competitors will just take over the market. This can be avoided by providing excellent service and good quality merchandise at reasonable rates. The individual doesn’t have to be a rocket scientist or some expert in computer programming to be able to successfully do business through blogging. The user should just work out on some details then find the proper way to advertise it so that traffic can be established and money will start coming in.

As a business owner, you have likely heard of social media marketing. You may even have been curious enough to investigate it. And you may have been overwhelmed by the many options available to you. Between Digg, Delicious, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and all of the many others, it is difficult to know where to start.
Twitter is one of the newer entries in the social media marketing field. Launched in 2006, it has become an enormously popular way for people to connect and keep in touch. Like any form of social media, it has also attracted businesses keen to get on the bandwagon of social media marketing.Using Twitter as a Marketing
Twitter is often referred to as a micro-blog. Instead of posts, you write “tweets” of 140 characters or less. You can follow other users with similar interests, and they can follow you. Each time you add an update, all of your followers receive a message. They can choose to respond or not.
As with any social media marketing site, using Twitter requires you to be involved. You need to follow and be followed. You also need to provide information of value to the people who follow you. One example is links to your blog or other relevant information on your site.
Using Twitter for marketing does take time (as does any attempt at social media marketing). You need to build a community of followers and engage with other users to create credibility. To make links, you have to have something interesting to share with people, which means you need to spend time creating enough current, relevant, interesting and (occasionally) thought-provoking content for your followers to read.Tips for Using Twitter as Part of Your Online Marketing
There are some basic rules to follow when using Twitter for marketing. In fact, many of these rules apply to other social media sites too, like Facebook.
Do not spam or engage in hard selling. Remember to be sociable and offer information of value. Blog posts on the benefits of your product or services, interesting conferences or professional development opportunities that are coming up – these are good examples.
Always link back to your site or blog. That is why you are doing this in the first place.
To get followers, put a link on your site or blog inviting people to follow you on Twitter. Twitter provides the code for a “badge” that you can drop into your Website or blog.
Search Twitter for likeminded users/businesses and see who they are following. You may be interested in following the same users.
Follow the lead of those who came before you. There are users with hundreds of followers. Check out what they are tweeting about so you can get ideas.Use Twitter as Part of a Detailed Social Media Marketing Strategy
Of course, if you are using social media for marketing, you need to have a comprehensive plan. To create a plan like that, you may need help from a search engine marketing consultant. In addition to tweeting on Twitter (which can eat up a lot of your time) you need to have a schedule for blogging and writing articles to link to.
As part of this strategy, develop a plan for your content. Don’t throw any old thing up there just to have something to link to. A consultant can show you how to create compelling copy that makes your blog, articles and Website work with your social media marketing, so that you are drawing traffic through as many channels as possible.
