Blog Marketing: The #1 Source Of New Content For Business Blogs
November 19, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment
Blog marketing or Blog advertising describes internet marketing using web blogs. Blogs have become the next generation marketing tool. Marketing blogs are basically websites that allow you to instantly publish content and act as a news source for prospects. Blogging has grown exponentially in the last few years. New Media Lab in Austin, Texas reports that 356,000,000 people worldwide read blogs and 77% of active web users read blogs. Can you see the potential? Blogging is the act of publishing content on your marketing blog, but publishing content with a blog and publishing with your regular website are as different as night and day because blogs are dynamic and allow two-way communication between you and your prospects. That’s why blog marketing and blog advertising should be completed on a regular basis and with a specific marketing strategy. While no one knows what’s included in a search engine’s algorithms, everyone can agree that a site needs to have quality content in order to rank high; and one of the easiest ways to add that quality content on a consistent basis is by starting a marketing blog. With the recent advancements and the growing popularity of social media sites, as well as the importance of back links to your website for search engine optimization (SEO) purposes, adding your social media profile links to your blog will also increase its popularity. Two of the most popular social media sites for businesses are Facebook and Twitter (visit our page on social media marketing here). You may be asking yourself, “How can I constantly come up with new content for my blog…It’s going to take a lot of work.” Don’t worry, here’s a quick list to get you going: – Create a top 10 list about your industry: Thanks to David Letterman, people love top 10 lists. They capture the readers attention and hold their interest.. – Ask a question and solve the problem: You know your prospects biggest problems, so ask it in a question form and answer it with good content. – Take a poll: Polls are always a good source for unique and interesting content – Post about growing trends in your industry: Prospects interested in your industry will most certainly be interested in new and emerging trends, so this is a great source of new content. Blog marketing can be very difficult to set up, but very exciting at the same time. You should be committed to adding new and fresh content at least weekly, but the more you can blog, the better. It’s just like being on a diet, if you’re consistent, it’s less difficult. But if you take a break and stop blogging for a week or so, you’ll lose your momentum and often your followers.

That’s right; blogging to make money require more of your resolve then it does you learning new skills. In fact the key to success in making yours the best blog site in your chosen niche will weigh more heavily upon your efforts then it will upon your talent. If you stop and consider most popular blogs are those that update frequently with fresh and interesting content and on a consistent basis. Think about that! What goes into accomplishing those tasks? Research, diligence, and persistence! Now let’s consider the type of planning you need to do and mindset you’ll need to acquire to make your home business blog the success YOU want.List Your Goals & ObjectivesBe realistic by choosing objectives that you can achieve. Keep them with you for constant reference and as a reminder. It is important here from a personal development standpoint to set goals that match up well with your talents and ambition. Targeting objectives that do not challenge you however, will therefore not motivate you and as a result bringing out your best is not likely to happen.Continually challenge yourself, overcome these challenges and move on to even more challenging goals. This is how you’ll build a bigger and better business.Think big and you’ll accomplish big but if you think small …nothing will happen!Dispel Negative ThinkingBlogging results do not occur over night but instead take time to develop before you’re able to see the fruits of your labor. It is during these times on ‘non-visual’ results that the evil demons on negative thinking can plant their seeds and side track or derail our actions. This type of thinking will only clutter your mind, fog your thinking, and dampen your spirit. Winners think positively and move forward while ‘others’ think of why they can’t succeed and ultimately find that negative thinking is usually the reason why.Always think positively but remember to add just a dash of realism! If mistakes occur learn from them but don’t dwell on them!Make Your Own LuckI regard the word ‘luck’ as often times meaning what happens when careful preparation and the proper mindset meets skillful execution. You sight your objectives, you plan how to meet those objectives and then you implement your plan and bingo objectives met! Now where’s the luck in that?Achieving success with a home business blog is not the result of learning an art or being technologically savvy. No, blogging to make money is more about persistence. If you got the resolve then you possess the key to success in making yours the best blog site in your niche. Once you’ve achieved that you’ve achieved the independence you no doubt were seeking! Choosing Affiliate Products to Increase Profits
November 18, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment
When starting a new online business selling affiliate products, there are several common mistakes committed by the people that produce disastrous results. As a result, these people fail and they give up on the idea of making money online in this way. However, it doesn’t have to be this way. Done properly, there is incredible potential to increase profits and make big money selling affiliate products.
The very first cause affiliate marketing problems may be in the selection of the products you are promoting. Often, amateurs tend to pick out products that give them the highest commission on every sale. In reality, it’s not about earning high commissions in one shot. These ultra high commission payers frequently have an extremely low level of sales. It is much better to choose products that sell on a regular and consistent basis with good conversion rates.
It is also important to pick the products that are related to the niche of your website. So, if you have an online business that sells music, there’s no point in promoting health care products on your site! You would be much better off promoting products related to music. This strategy will increase profits and make you substantially more money in the long run.
In addition, many people try to promote too many products at once. They think that if one product is good, fifty products will be fantastic. Nothing could be further from the truth. This is a recipe for disaster. Instead, you are much better off by concentrating on just one or two good products. Then, as you begin to increase profits and traffic to your site, you can slowly add additional products.
So, if you see yourself committing some of these mistakes, make some changes and before you know it, you’ll increase your profits and start making money! Want more information on generating profits online? Check out my new guide for all the details.

Blogging – What Is It?
November 8, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment
In simple terms, blogging is a terrific way to reach your niche demographic, explore ideas and may even be incorporated with your Internet marketing campaign.
Blogging is a practical way to convey information to fellow bloggers with similar interests, however within a sophisticated informational format.
Initiating a blog is quite easy, and once accomplished you will find it a wonderfully useful marketing tool. In order to begin a blog, you will find a number of free services available. Examples of free blogging services include:
1. Word Press, and, 2. Blogger.
All you need to do in order to create a blog for yourself is fill out a non time consuming online registration form.
The second part of the process is within the setup. This will involve your choosing a theme for your blog site and an appropriate template. Once the set up portion is complete you are ready to make posts to your blog. The minute you have completed making your post, your post is immediately published.
The schedule you set up for your blog posts of course is up to you. Generally, bloggers will post items on a daily basis or the more infrequent blogger will post weekly. Regardless of the time set aside for blogging, it is important you post blogs on a consistent basis. The most successful bloggers will make posts around one central theme; however there are bloggers who make posts on their blogs with regard to several different topics.
Another attribute of the accomplished blogger is that he or she will post information in such a way to encourage comments from fellow bloggers.
Regardless of what your blog entails there are a variety of ways you may make money with your blog.
1. Many bloggers use the Google AdSense program in order to earn extra income. Ads populate your blog relative to your niche. Bloggers earn income when visitors to his or her blog site click on the ads. 2. You can also receive extra compensation by including affiliate links.
The best way to institute the idea of receiving income for links is by creating a special area within your blog especially for the purpose. You inform visitors that you recommend the additional sites found on your blog site. The sites and/or links naturally are relative to the theme of your blog. The recommended links come from other visitors to your site who have a link of which they would like to post.
In order to receive compensation for their link, include a pass-through page to Pay Pal on one of your blog posts. You may entitle your pass-through link: “How to Post your Link on this Site”. Include instructions on how your visitor may post his or her link prior to reaching the Pay Pal payment page. You may provide your customer with two options: a one-time payment or on a subscription basis. The advertiser therefore may select to pay month-to-month or for a longer period of time making payment in one lump sum.
Another option open to you in order to secure on-line revenue is through pay-per-post sites. Essentially once you have your niche blog up and running, you sign up at one of the pay-per-post networks. Within this concept, advertisers contact you if they feel your blog is a good match with their products and/or services. You then write a post on your blog relative to their product and/or services and receive compensation for your efforts.
Within the scope of direct sales the consistent activity of posting to your blog can prove very beneficial to you when addressing your niche audience. It is certainly a way to keep interest levels high with respect to the products and/or services you offer.
Blogging is one of the easier self-publishing options, so why not get started today?

How to Create and Maintain a Proftable Blog
November 7, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment
You then go out and hire and gifted Wordpress template designer to design the very best blog template ever. Now that’s a good move because it’s always good to have a unique design to stand out from the crowd. Besides, search engines really hate sites with duplicated designs. It makes the sites too similar. What next?
Once the design is ready, it’s now time to add content for the site. Question is, is it better to create a general blog or a niche blog? Most experienced bloggers would recommend going for the niche blogs. That’s because the audience is definitely more specific, and it’s easier to market the blogs and attract advertisers later on. Online readers hate confusion. They love to scan and have very little patience for confusing blogs, and general blogs have a higher tendency to appear confusing. For these reasons, it makes sense to decide on your niche early so that you can dish out content with depth.
Now that you’ve had your design ready and have decided on your niche, you need to ask yourself how often do you want to update your blog? One of the keys to maintaining a successful blog is to create valuable content on a consistent basis. Why is that so important?
That’s because if you can create useful content on a regular basis, you create a following and people come back repeatedly for your content. It doesn’t really matter if you blog two or five times a week. A few highly successful bloggers I know only post to their blogs one to two times a week. But when they do, it’s almost always killer content.
So if they post only one to two times a week? What do they do with the rest of their time? Well, a lot of time is being spent on researching, coming up with new content for the next blog post, and more importantly, promoting the blogs. It’ll take a book to be comprehensive about blog promotion but here are a few tips.
To ensure that your blog gets a constant stream of traffic, locate as many traffic sources as you can. For example, related forums, the big search engines like MSN, Yahoo and Google, Blog search engines, Blogger communities and so on and so forth. This takes a little bit more time initially but once you get hang of it, it gets easier.
Submit your blog feed to as many search engines as possible and link to other bloggers in your network. Don’t be afraid of visitors leaving your site. If you’ve got killer content, they won’t. In time to come, your blogger friends will return the favor and link back to you. This is one of the most powerful blog promotion strategy because it’s long term, cost very little, and it’s very easy to implement.
Now, that’s how you go about creating and maintaining a highly successful blog. Don’t worry if things tart a little slow in the beginning. Keep writing and promoting your blog, and you’re on your way to blogging success.
