Discover How to Promote your Affiliate Products Like Super Affiliate!

November 19, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

If you want to make a living from affiliate marketing, and make a lot of commissions, you need to learn how to promote your products like a super affiliate.

Here are some of the most important lessons I’ve learned over the years from affiliate marketing.

1. Are you pre-selling yet?

Pre-selling may be the most important affiliate marketing skill, yet many newbies don’t do this properly.

They do a huge mistake when they try to sell instead of warming up their visitors to get them excited about the product.

As an affiliate, you want your visitor to learn more. You give him this option with your links. If you understand this process, you will make a lot of commissions this year.

2. Are you following up with your subscribers?

It is a well known fact amongst affiliate marketers that following up leads to more commissions.

Struggling affiliates are not following up with their visitors, and here are the major mistakes.

The first one is that they use direct linking. They link to the merchant’s website, building his subscriber’s list for him… Now wonder why they are not earning a decent income.

What to do?

It’s simple, but most affiliates are lazy. You should build your very own website, and add an opt-in form to every single page of the site.

Like this, when surfers land on your page, they will have the possibility to opt-in.

You will then be able to send them a newsletter, and also free reports to presell your affiliate products.

If you don’t do this, you will not make a lot of money on the Internet. Remember the old saying: “the money is in the list”. Believe me, it’s true, your subscribers will make you a lot of money in the long term if you treat them like they deserve.

Read on, though, because it’s very important that you get this technique right. You need to know how to send follow-ups WITHOUT ANNOYING YOUR SUBSCRIBERS. Or not annoying them TOO much. After all, it’s impossible to please everyone.

When you’re sending follow-up emails to your subscribers, DON’T merely repeat whatever you said in the first message. If you do, your readers will feel that you’re just blasting them with ads.

November 4, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

Have you always been envious of those that could somehow choose a niche without almost any thought? Now you don’t have to be. I wish I had realized this process I’m about to show you earlier when I first started building websites online.

I can understand you being sceptical about how to choose a niche topic. However, you won’t be once you read what I have for you in relationship to choosing a niche topic to build your first wordpress blog around. Patience is a virtue, and for those that have been able to stay with me this far, the good stuff is coming!

What I’m about to show is how to choose a niche in a way that you haven’t been exposed to yet.

I call it the Process Of Elimination.

Let’s first explore some opportunities you might be interested in. To do this write down at least 10 things you are interested in doing as an online business on a piece of paper. By doing this you getting your ideas out of your head and on something you can work with. That’s the first step.

Next, start breaking down the list you just wrote to 5. You see how this works yet?

Now with the remanding 5, break that down to 3.

With only 3 remaining now all you have to do is choose one of the 3.

Do you see how the Process Of Elimination works now?

I found this process really helpful and easy to employ because either way you look at it with the decision you make it’s a niche topic you have an interest in and spending some time on as a online business.

Now if you plan on building several niche wordpress blogs I recommend you keep that list handy so you can apply the same technique to the remainder on the list. This will help you keep on track and focused on your projects.

With so many niche topics to build a website around online it gets difficult to sometimes make a decision on which niche topic to start with first which is why I use this process above and am sharing it with you now. And it took less then an hour to do.

So what do you do next?

Keyword Research!

This is the last step of the Process Of Elimination and the most important. Why would you want to build a wordpress blog or any website for that matter if there’s no market for it. We’re building these sites for a reason and that is to make some money.

So with that said its time now to do our Keyword Research homework.

I use Googles free keyword research tool do this step. It’s easy to use and gives you some valuable stats about what people are searching for online under your selected keywords or niche topic.

If your keywords or niche topic produce high search counts and lots of adwords advertisers then you’ve found yourself a profitable niche topic to start building a website or wordpress blog around. If it is the other way around, start the process above over again with your remaining niche topics you wrote down earlier.

Those are the basics of how this technique works. I could keep on going about the keyword research end of things but that’s an article within itself. Start with this first.

You’ll find after doing this a few times it gets much easier because you’ll be familiar with how the process works.

I wish you nothing but the best in your pursuit of choosing your first niche topic. I have faith that with my tips above you are going to be able to achieve it all in only less then an hour.

Importance of Backlinks | SEO Traffic Spider

October 25, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

If you have gained an insight into the SEO world, you would have come across the word “backlinks” several times. For those new to the SEO industry, you might wonder what backlinks are and how essential they are for the success of websites.

In short, a Backlink indicates a link from another site to your website. These are also known as inbound links and their number indicates the popularity of the website. Backlinks are considered as votes by search engines: more the number of votes (backlinks) your website has, and based on the importance of websites linking back to yours, your site is assigned a trust rank.

Backlinks today are an important part of the SEO process because when you build quality backlinks, your website stands a higher chance of getting indexed faster by the search engines. Also, from the long term perspective, it will help in boosting quality traffic to your site. Apart from this, building backlinks serves your bottom-line of website visibility by improving your page ranking and ultimately your ranking in the search engines.

Additionally, it is not just enough to have lots of backlinks, but, it’s also the quality of backlinks that helps in achieving a better ranking in search engines. When calculating the relevance of a website to a particular keyword, search engines usually take into consideration the number of quality backlinks to that website.
Search engines like Google give a lot of importance to websites that contain more number of quality backlinks and also consider those websites as more relevant when compared to others in search results.

A backlink is considered as a quality link if:

a) It links back to your site with the keyword which you are optimizing for.

b) The website linking back to yours has the same theme as your website – this means that when your website contains an inbound link from another site, and that site has content related to your website, this inbound link will be considered as more relevant to your website. However, if this inbound link comes from a site that is totally unrelated to your site content, then it is considered as a less relevant backlink. Therefore, higher the relevancy of backlinks, the greater will be their quality.

For instance, if you have a website about furniture and you receive an inbound link from another website also containing furniture, then this backlink will be considered more relevant and of higher quality when compared to a backlink from a florist website.

Today, search engines watch out for websites that build quality backlinks slowly over time. Though it is quite easy to maneuver links on webpage’s in order to attain a high ranking, it is much tougher to manipulate search engines with inbound links from other sites. This is also one of the reasons for backlinks gaining increased importance in search engine algorithms. Recently, search engines assessment for quality backlinks has become even tougher as there are many webmasters out there who make use of unethical techniques and deceive search engines to attain a higher ranking. These techniques are not only illegitimate but can also lead to your site getting banned.

Lastly, building quality backlinks could be a very time consuming and tedious process requiring a lot of patience, efforts, and also funds. However, it is a crucial step in creating blogs or any website since the quality and relevancy of backlinks can determine the success or failure of the site. Therefore, it is very important that you prioritize this in your SEO activity and hire professional SEO experts to whom you can outsource this task and achieve a better search engine ranking.

Generating Website Traffic is Essential

October 25, 2009 by IBI · Leave a Comment

So you’ve decided to build a new website, start promoting an old one, or spruce up a website project. The most important thing you can do for any of these website projects is to find a way to generate some huge website traffic. What good will it do your company to invest so much money and time into a website if no one is viewing it? This is why you need to look into a website traffic generator.

The days of the internet are speeding by us as consumers and business owners. Your company has to be ahead of the curve at all times! This is why it’s essential that you find the way for your company to get some serious hits on your website. Everyone’s trying desperately to get the attention of internet browsers. But your company needs to find a way to stand out in the crowd. Consumers are clicking out of advertisements and ignoring companies’ attempts to drive traffic to their websites. With a whole internet to surf, consumers are easily distracted and not willing to give you their time easily.

Being aggressive with your attempts at generating website traffic is so important for your company. An aggressive attitude is not enough, however, because you have to take action in order to produce great results. You need some specific goals for figuring out how to get the traffic needed. Do you want to target a specific demographic or just reach as many people as possible? These are questions you need to work out before your plan can be shaped and then put into action.

The returns on these plans will be huge for your company. Figure out how many visitors you get to your site daily. How much profit are you bringing in daily? Now double those numbers. I bet you like the numbers that come up. Now, make it a reality.

With increased website traffic your company cannot do anything but have better returns. It’s just simple math and probability. If your store or website has double the amount of consumers visiting, then the probability of having higher sales goes up significantly. You don’t have to be an accountant to figure out that math!

Stores in malls have sales to draw in customers. Websites must find their own niche in order to draw customers inside. Plus, if you have consumers that are already surfing the net, all it takes them to visit is a couple of extra clicks. When people respond to sales at stores, they have to get in their cars and drive to the store, and actually walk in. It should be a simple task to get visitors on the web. However, because it is so easy, so many companies are fighting to be seen in the midst of competition.
